So you used to be able to click on the picture of a piece in the catalog, sort
of a quick view. You'd see the years it was made, any sets/minifigures the
piece was in, etc. You all know what I'm talking about. Well, a few days
ago I couldn't do it anymore. I've tried three different devices.

Why would they make such a horrible change for? I rely on that heavily when listing
minifigure parts to make sure I have the correct listing. This is going to make
this job twice as long now.

I have the same bug. It is not just you. Windows 7: Firefox, Chrome, etc. Logged

We both mean in the forum thread listings, not the forum posts. Unless you click

Thanks, Caleb! I knew I'd seen it somewhere.

For this reason i put [UK] at the start of the subject when I re-announce the
sales i'm always having.
A flag would be very useful - i'm always a fan of standardisation.

I actually almost suggested this the other day. I would love to not have to click
on the posts as I rarely buy outside the USA.

You've got my vote.

Okay, I think I understand you both. You're referring to when you land on

In which case, a very good and useful suggestion! Voted yes

I've thought this for a long time now; I agree and for exactly the same reasons.
It's a shame, as some U.S. sellers have great part-lists and excellent sales
- all negated by postage, import duty and P.O. charges (that are generally MUCH
higher than the actual duty).

Mozilla Firefox on the laptop, Google Chrome on the other laptop, and I believe

Huh, that's odd... I thought it might be my laptop at first but I tried three

shape when over the picture and clicking does absolutely nothing.

Wayne's post and others like it, https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1150409
brings to mind an idea that briefly visited my headspace some time ago:

A type of reverse want list. That is, a way that sellers could peruse the current
want lists to specific buyer's needs, to then as a seller, proactively engage
members like Wayne with offers on items they have on their want list.

Kinda like amping-up the want list and selling process, by getting the sellers
more involved in increasing their sales by actually selling

It's just a rough draft of an idea. Limitations, restriction and other refinements
of the idea, expected.

But hey, BL shot-callers, it speaks directly to upping the sales numbers!

  Hello

Many times i search for a decorated items (xxxxPBxx for an exemple).
Exemple
I have this one :
2440pb002 / https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=2911#T=C

But it sadly never appears when we search for 2440 (what's only written on
the part)

And that's only thanks a long search on some other website that i finally
could find it on brickink.

So, is it possible to add all those sub-serial numbers to the normal search

For an exemple it could be a new COLOR category : decorated.
Or as for my exemple, it is a black part with decoration, so to put it in the
BLACK color.
Thanks a lot in advance

So basically having Goatleg.com as a feature to Bricklink
or try searching 2440*
Then it will list all 2440 items decorated or not.

nordbart

WOULD HELP A LOT in searches.

best wishes and long live your fabulous website

To narrow it down further - click Market, then click Search, then use this criteria
to find any decorated 2440 in black.

Only the ones inventoried to a set will show, but this definitely helps when
you're looking for a specific decorated item in a certain color as some of
the parts like tiles have a ton of decorated variations of all colors.

Hello

Thanks for your answers
I didnt know the * tip after a serial number.
It works great

Still, that might be helpful i think if for the 2440 (exemple), they all appear
in the color list may they be decorated or not

Nice day to everyone

WOULD HELP A LOT in searches.

best wishes and long live your fabulous website

So basically having Goatleg.com as a feature to Bricklink
or try searching 2440*
Then it will list all 2440 items decorated or not.

The 6x12 light gray plate should be replaced by a 6x14

For me 6 x 12 is good.
On the manual I can see the end of plate 6 x 12
Two plate 2x3 make the 2x6 that we miss to have 14

But I may be wrong

These are already in the inventory as tool wheel: [p=6246c01]
Also this is a set from 1995 so they were dark gray, not dark bluish gray.

42030-1 (Inv) Volvo L350F Wheel Loader
1636 Parts, 2014
Sets: Technic: Model: Construction

* Add 1 Part 6636pb198 Black Tile 1 x 6 with White 'VOLVO' on Black Background Pattern (Sticker) - Set 42030 (Counterpart)
* Add 1 Part 41239pb018 Black Technic, Liftarm 1 x 13 Thick with White 'IMPORTANT', Stripe, Circle, Arrow and Book Pattern (Sticker) - Set 42030 (Counterpart)
* Add 1 Part 41239pb019 Black Technic, Liftarm 1 x 13 Thick with Yellow 'WARNING' and Black and Yellow Warning Sign Pattern (Sticker) - Set 42030 (Counterpart)
* Add 4 Part 3068bpb1249 Black Tile 2 x 2 with Groove with Silver Vehicle Mirror Rounded Corners Pattern (Sticker) - Set 42030 (Dots the same size) (Counterpart)

Comments from Submitter:
4x 3068bpb1249 because A-model and B-model have their own (but identical) stickers.

There may be 4 stickers, but only 2 tiles. So quantity should be 2 for this counterpart.

Do we have a general rule for such a case? I thought that usually all possible
stickered parts are added as counterparts regardless how many of them can "exist"
at the same time. Since we have 4 stickers, it would be consequent to add 4 stickered
tiles.

Set 3407, for example, has 6 blank minifigs, but over 30 different stickered
minifigs. (And see also the number of stickered slopes and windows in that set.)

Set No: 3407 Name: Red Bus
*
3407-1 (Inv) Red Bus
108 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2000
Sets: Sports: Soccer

Or what about all those different license plate stickers which are included in
creator expert vehicles? There is usually only one tile to apply them.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against adding 2 instead of 4 tiles. Just
want to understand why.

Regards,
Jonas

In those other cases there are different stickers. In this case the stickers
are the same. So in my opinion only two should be added as counterparts in this
case.

Comments from Submitter:
I checked and double checked the instructions for both of these and only 4 rubber bands are used. For the piece #32002 there are 2 dark gray and 2 light gray in each for a total of 4 dark gray and 4 light gray.

This is easy to miss if you are not comparing to another thick icon with hole. A pic will be attached.

The set is right in front of me. I just didn't have a chance to go through
it yet. I concur with your assessment.

I assume you meant tinted or colored (not tainted) material. If so, astute. Good
point.

I used the link to enter the size and weight of a new set,

Maybe someone have this set as sealed and can help us with that.

Hi Fred,

I have gathered some information for this set and your other request 156-1 since
one year ago. As you know, I (and you) have been waiting for the catalog and
inventory admins on how the wires should be handled.

Comments from Submitter:
Just Built the set from Sealed set parts. And examined the Part to determine what type it is. Although the difference between Type A and Type B is listed as a Groove, The difference is actually a Solid or Hollow stud on the Bottom. This Item has indeed a Hollow Stud and No groove around the edges.

We can see the white wire in auction 123811320635 on Ebay.

We can also see the white wire here (not sealed):
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/AirMauro/Museum/0880/880-02.jpg

This set was released between transition of wire/connectors of Blue to Gray Era Train Sets

In a similar vein, shouldn't we also have the two-pin version of the motor
itself? So far as I know, the 3-pin plugs turned up in the early 80s, possibly
1982, so the motor should certainly exist as both 2-pin and 3-pin versions.

The box lid clearly shows a 2-pin motor, and the attached image of a sealed set
looks like a 2-pin motor to me.

Hi,

I do not think motor [p=bb22] exist in 2-pin and 3-pin version. (I can be wrong)
Only one version of 12V motor (black one) is listed on the Catalog

They look like Trans-Light Blue to me. However, if you want to know for sure,
get a black light. Trans-Medium Blue fluoresces *very* strongly under black light.

Cool. Thank you, I did not know that. I'll have to dig out my 70's

wanting a 12v train system in the USA had to import it.

Trains 7813, 7814, 7817, 7818, 7715, 7720, 7722 and other sets like this one
(7823), 7839 were sold in USA so people could buy them from shops or order them
via "shop at home"

https://images.brickset.com/library/Catalogues/c87sah.pdf

Yes, 7823 was available in USA and it was indeed a successful set.

Thanks for that information. I did not realize that sets 7823 and 7839 with
the 12v metal track were made available through mail order.

I expected all of the other sets you mentioned would have been available in the
USA because they were intended for multi-use with push trains, battery, or 12v
systems (but did not contain 12v metal track).

973pb3600c01 (Inv) Torso T-Shirt with Red Trim and 'CHAMPS' Logo Pattern (BAM) / Red Arms / Yellow Hand Right / Reddish Brown Baseball Glove Left
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.

Has anyone actually seen this part in a BAM box with the mitt attached? I have
seen multiple of them in three different stores now, and they do not have the
mitt. They have a single hand and a missing hand. You can add either a mitt or
a hand, staff don't care.

So should this be listed with a mitt, given that this is not how it is supplied?
Or at least have a note about this, as not all the torsos will have mitts.

The evidence will be uploaded soon.

Did you forget to upload the evidence?

Two more comments:
- I don't know if the bricks 3002, 3003 should be kep as alternates or not.
I don't have any evidence for them coming in later releases.
- I had previously submitted a request for adding one red 1*1 tile as extra.
I gave a reliable evidence. My other inv. change requests were accepted using
the same evidence. But that one was rejected with no comment. I would like to
know why (and it helps me to know).

Reza -

What about the clip lights? I see the thick-ring versions in the photos here:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=558274

The other Inventory Admin, Paul, is also the one who added the alternates to
the inventory back in 2011.

Did this set ever come with the thin-ring versions?

Cheers,
Randy

Randy,

For keeping early variant or removing them, there is no good solution but I have
my own philosophy
We know the later variations of clips and hinges came in early 1985. I have checked
light gray hinges since long time ago and I am convinced that we should remove
them for this set. Well, if one day somebody gives an evidence, we can add them
back but I don't think this would happen.

I didn't request to remove thin-clips for this set (from 1986) because I
have not checked enough number of used/new copies in the American market. I don't
know if those copies of 7823 sold in USA were imported directly from Denmark
or were produced in USA. This is a complicated case. My doubts raised as I have
seen few neat copies of American 6393 (with American box in the market of USA)
coming with thin clips in most colors (there come with 6393 in four colors) As
I have seen few used copies of 6393 coming with rare thin clips, I believe they
were still available in 1987. Admin Russel removed thin-clips from 6393 in Nov.
2018
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp?itemType=S&itemNo=6393-1&viewDate=Y&viewStatus=1

Once I have some more data, I come back to 6393. Unfortunately, I don't think
we find any new 6393, let alone an early release!

Now, coming back to 7823, I think it is better I check some more used/new copies
in the market of USA before requesting to remove them. I will come back to this
in few months.

Cheers,
Reza

The LEGO replacement parts service and the parts list in the instructions manual
both list the clips as coming in the set even though the official part count
on the box states the set only contains 114 pieces and the clips are not shown
to be used in the actual build instructions. Therefore, the official part count
on the box is wrong and I do agree that the parts should be in the Regular Items
section. I will update the inventory and add an inventory note about the part
count on the box not matching the true part count.

Cheers,
Randy

the extra parts. I agree that they are not used in the instructions, but they
are visible in the front cover of the set and the instructions (and image on

of the normal build, but has been forgotten in the insctructions?

Anyway, a lot of people list sets without the extra parts, so these parts might
be missed if they are not included. Maybe it's better to include them in
the set inventory and remove them from the extra parts?

Despite this part being in the official instruction books, it is not used in the build. Since it is already indicated in "extra parts", it can't be in both categories!

I also found another change in inventory, but I do not find sealed box evidence
for making a proper change request.

Maybe someone have this set as sealed and can help us with that.

2018

Once I have some more data, I come back to 6393. Unfortunately, I don't think
we find any new 6393, let alone an early release!

Now, coming back to 7823, I think it is better I check some more used/new copies
in the market of USA before requesting to remove them. I will come back to this
in few months.

Cheers,
Reza

This set been out for a while now . Is there time scale how long it might take
.

Thank you for take in time to read this

It appears that the inventory is not pending or reserved. The minifigs are already
in the system. Someone may be planning on inventorying it, but it's not currently
reserved. Inventories are done by members and approved by the Inventories Admin.

If you just need the inventory, you can find it on Rebrickable:
https://rebrickable.com/sets/75936-1/jurassic-park-trex-rampage/#parts

and they also have the inventory just for the T-Rex:
https://rebrickable.com/sets/75936-1-s1/jurassic-park-trex-rampage-trex/#parts

if you want to build the T-Rex, do note that there are quite a few parts with
colors unique to this set, and that info can be found here:
