| I've parted this set-out some time ago and I am certain it came with aqua,
the only sky blue parts I have are from clickits so I had a reference point at
the time. Looks like it might be a tricky part to find in that colour (if it
even exists). Good luck though.

is it possible that this part was never available in this color? In b.l reference
catalog this part appears as alternate in set 5961. does anyone has this set
with sky blue parts instead of aqua?

In Catalog, Admin_Russell writes:
| Hello everyone,
We are pleased to announce that we have made another appointment. StormChaser,
who was appointed as Inventories Administrator last year, has now been promoted
to Catalog Administrator.
This is an important step for BrickLink. We haven't had a Catalog Admin appointment
for over nine years, and this is the first time someone has moved from the Inventories
side of the system to the Catalog side.
We believe StormChaser is highly qualified for this position. In addition to
an outstanding year as an Inventories Admin, he has had years of intense experience
with every area of the BrickLink Catalog. He has made many thousands of corrections,
uploaded an enormous amount of new data, and has solved a number of LEGO mysteries
over the years. So we're very pleased he has agreed to accept this position,
and we look forward to his activity in this new area.
We will be be making another appointment soon to fill his former position as
Inventories Administrator.

I was wondering if it might be but only saw two shades of orange listed as being
known colors for this part. And looking at pictures I was not certain either
option was right. Unfortunately medium orange was not on the list.

| Sounds like a good plan. I listed a cheap 9p item several weeks back and about
a week later I did my usual Brickstock download to check for missing locations
and oddities and noticed I'd listed it at £90. But doing that routine check
did allow me to quickly fix it.

| Hi
Probably a lot of us have been guilty of this, adding an item to your inventory
and forgetting the decimal point, or putting it in the wrong place, thereby creating
an abnormal price.
Is it possible when entering a price for new or used, to flag if the price entered
is say more than xx% of the average prices already on file. Still giving you
the option to enter that price, but just warning that this price is abnormal
Thanks

| I know Pearl Dark Grey has an older variation which looks like that one in the
middle, I have quite a few Bionicle pieces and they look very similar in colour.
I always note them though as they are so far off the normal Pearl Dark Grey
which is a lot 'blacker'.
In Colors, Lord.Oddfish writes:
| Ok I'm having a colour problem. I have a 8434 Aircraft set which is missing
some parts.
In the picture you can see three distinct colours. On the left are "dark bluish
gray" blocks for reference. In the middle are some replacement pieces which are
meant to be "pearl dark gray" but are not the same as the far right pieces which
are from the aircraft set. They defintely are "pearl dark gray".
The thing is, that type of "panel fairing" comes in pearl dark gray or dark
bluish gray only. It is not listed as existing in the old shade of dark gray
which it appears to be. Same goes for the 1x2 liftarms in the picture.
The colour is consistant over the whole piece, it isn't faded or discoloured.
It doesnt havethe same amount of texture that the "pearl dark gray" on the far
right do, but then again it seem to have a bit of shine to it that a regular
old "dark gray" piece doesn't have. So i guess my question is, is there a
known large varation of the colour of the "pearl dark gray" pieces?

Maybe all trans clear 2 x 4 bricks in official sets are of the 3001old variety?
Would certainly match the release dates of those sets. Current trans 3003s are
of the 3003old variety but are listed under 3003 as per BL policy, so any 3001
trans that surfaced now would probably still be of the 3001old variety.

| This is such an issue with Pearl Light Grey and Flat Silver in Bionicle parts,
as most of the elements can come in both colours. I list a lot of Bionicle parts
and keep a sample of several of the parts from new (and known) sources to compare.
I find the Flat Silver tends to be duller compared to Pearl Light.

If they were Flat Silver, would they pretty well match the hard plastic flat
silver pieces I get now? I have a lot of those. But I don't have a strong
familiarity with Pearl Light Gray.
