Hello Vintage Lego Collectors!
I have just inventoried the elusive 1064-1 set from 1981
I got this superRARE set from a Swedish guy in 2017.
This Dacta set, according to him, was given for free to pediatric departments.
That's why so few survived.

The set is composed by a box, 6 cardboards instructions, 396 bricks&parts and
6 minifigures

There are 6x different instructions, 1 for each miniset included in the box.
Each instruction is printed on cardboard and also depicts a visual inventory
of each miniset.

I am very proud that now ALL Vintage Dacta Town sets have been inventoried!!!

Yes go to Catalog main page, find section What's New, column "More" there
you have "Pending approval". There is everything what is pending: items, images,
invetories, change requests.

Many thanks again!

Many thanks!

Is there a way to find it or should I bookmark the page?

I never noticed this for any set before, but the inventory shows a change log.
When you click on it no changes are shown. You might report this as a bug.

There is no link to inv change log on inventory page for this but
"...inventoried this Set on Oct 3, 2003, inventory last updated on Oct 19, 2003."

There is more such things, yesterday I notice this also here
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?M=sw052
Admin inventoried this Minifig on Feb 6, 2003, inventory last updated on Feb
7, 2003.
Here is only one day of difference but also no change log.

Was there any inventory change log invented on Bricklink in 2003? I think not
and that is why this discrapancy. Check here
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogLogs.asp?utm_content=subnav
for inventories first logs are from 2004 for catalog from 2005.

Yes, I would definitely think so.

also this is connected with this but assembly is not in the catalog

I think it's this one:

Tire currently in inventory of that set don't fit. Nice catch!

You may request the addition of that item here:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChange.asp

Marek and Randy, what I noticed with a few of these sets around 1990 is that
there were typically two editions - an early version without the separator and
a later version with the separator. I added an inventory note to at least one
such set:

Set No: 325 Name: Basic Building Set
*
325-1 (Inv) Basic Building Set
102 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1990
Sets: Universal Building Set: Basic

  Hello again everybody,

We mentioned last week that we were looking for a new Inventories Admin, and
I'm announcing today that we have appointed Randy (user randyf) to this position.

Randy is a very well-known contributor to the catalog, a frequent participant
in Forum discussions, and pretty much a person we couldn't imagine BrickLink
being without. He has contributed a large number of color-adjusted Lego part
renders which have helped define the look of BrickLink for the next generation.
And his work with PCCs is unmatched.

We are pleased and excited to extend these admin privileges to Randy and to welcome
him to our admin team.

Russell

Congratulations to Randy and BrickLink, another great addition to the team of
volunteers!

Yes, welcome to the team, Randy.

Please treat Marek well. I used to frequently smile at him when we directly
worked together - he really likes that. He also like anything in the order Coleoptera,
in case you're wondering about a Christmas gift.
