| Hi admin,
Can Revolut be added to the dropdown list of accepted offsite payment options
please?
Loads listed already such as American Express, IBAN, Paymate etc, but getting
more frequent requests to accept payment option Revolut.
I can accept this and using this for some time with all kinds of pleasure but
it is not known to customers at check out, hence their choice for PayPal or others.
Thanks,
Myranda
|
You can acceot it through Stripe, according to a Google search.
|
There’s lots of payment methods possible through Stripe… but they don’t work
on BrickLink. BrickLink needs to incorporate them.
AFAIU from previous talks, it should be rather easy to do… but it’s not done.
And we don’t know why (security? competence? lazyness?).
Also, as for Myranda’s “Loads listed already such as American Express, IBAN,
Paymate etc,”:
1. They are only available for pre-June 2017 sellers. For the others, only PayPal,
Stripe and IBAN are possible.
2. It’s a rather unmeaningful list: lots of doublets or overlapping methods and
you mostly can’t filter by it.
|
Not aware it was for pre 2017 sellers visible only.
For me it's not really something that needs to be implemented in the BL website
as is with PayPal, but just to make it visible as a payment option for the buyers
at checkout just like IBAN. Revolut is fast and free, getting sick of paying
endless fees and besides that, the demand from customers is there.

| Hi,
Unless I'm overlooking something, I'm unable to find this cyclinder.
Part number at bottom: 44358.
No's on the inside (and hope pics are clear enough): 44359, 58772 and 58773.
Happy to upload to catalog if someone can find a decent description for same.
No idea which set either, but thinking in Harry Potter direction.
Any assistance appreciated,

Your picture shows 2 pieces, one inside the other
the second one can be scooped out with your finger.
|
Good catch and I'm slightly embarrassed. Stuck, really tight but with
some washinbg up liquid I managed to get it out.
Thanks, sorted!

Just looks like this part in Light Gray??
|
Your picture looks like LBG to me.
|
Without anything else in the picture to compare it to, we don't know the
ambient lighting or the camera's color balance. This could be light gray
in a slightly bluish light, or LBG in a slightly yellowish light, but it's
impossible to say from here.
|
No LBG existed in 2002.
|
Yes, it's LBG. And another yes, it was stuck in there, seriously tight, but
managed to get it out with washing up liquid. (slightly embarrashed...

| The old boat sets always mentioned that there were model motors not made by LEGO
that could be added to the sets and the hulls were equipped with attachment points
for them. Does anyone know what they were referring to or has anyone ever seen
one of these motors? The double hull speedboat set is the only one I know of
that came with a motor (made by LEGO) and the newer city themed boats no longer
have the attachment points and don't mention them.
This has been mystery to me since I was a kid, and now with a pretty extensive
boat collection myself and the power of the internet I still can't find them
referenced anywhere.
