| Received a high dollar order on Feb 10th. Pulled, Packed, Invoiced, Paid, Posted
all in about 24 hours. Post office received package on Feb 11th. As it's
an international shipment, it goes through the Chicago International Distribution
Center on the evening of Feb 16th. Then it basically disappears until April 12th.
No one knows where it went, how it got there, what cruise line it detoured through,
nothing. Here's what the time interval looks like on the USPS tracking page
looks:
- Processed Through USPS Regional Facility
CHICAGO IL INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER
February 16, 2024, 7:43 pm
- Processed Through Facility
NETHERLANDS
April 12, 2024, 9:46 pm
Did they travel through the Bermuda triangle? Where did it go? I cannot express
the amount of appreciation I have for an understanding customer who paid so much
for this order, and then patiently waited almost two months for a tracking update
from USPS. TWO MONTHS! It's almost like the postal service is purposefully
trying to kill off international business opportunities. First with huge price
jumps, then with a decreased level of service that borders on apathy.
The postal service told me that after it leaves the US there's not a lot
they can do, 'it's out of our hands'. Why offer tracking at all when
it's of little use? And when I asked them about filing a case for a missing
package, they tell me that it has to be missing at least 60 days before I can
file as a missing package. Insane, absolutely insane. Going to send a Christmas
box of dog poop to Mr DeJoy... through Fedex.

| Perhaps an admin could help out here. I have seen this only a few times in the
Forum, and no real resolution on BrickLink's end. I have an order that was
paid, shipped, received. The Buyer used their parent's Paypal account and
the parents filed a chargeback for unauthorized use of their account. Also, no
idea if this person is underage or not, but I can't reset the order to a
status to be able to file an NPB on the Buyer. So what is the best way to proceed?
Thanks!

| Had a new user order an expensive item, female name on the BrickLink account,
male name on the Paypal account, same last name. A few days after receiving the
item, the Paypal account holder filed an unauthorized use of account chargeback.
Until this is settled, beware of orders from this account: rebecca_21

| Sorry for the ramble, it's been a long day. I know things need to be re-imagined,
things need to update, get better, but that's just not the case for much
of Shipstation. Thankfully I only do a few orders a day at my busiest, but still.
Latest shipping label, went through the whole process
of creating the label, charging me for it, then when I go to print... "She's
dead, Jim!". I get a link to the payment, a link to the tracking, and every time
I go to print or load the label itself, Error. Real conducive to business there
folks. Just a poor User Experience to round out a kind of a bummer day. Someone
post me some cartoons, stat! I'm ambling off to watch some mind numbing Netflix
show. I'll figure out sometime later whether I have to switch to Pirateship,
void the label, shortsell Shipstation to the point that all the hip kids want
to get in on the action and it folds overnight, or simply quit, or possibly all
of the above. For now, I'm off to Netflix and chill. Goodnight all!

* | | 10133-1 (Inv) Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) GP-38 Locomotive 400 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2004 Sets: Train: 9V | Looking at this set photo, it shows number stickers not included
on the set's main sticker sheet. Is there actually a sticker sheet that was
printed with the 1013 number set in distribution, or only the 2256 number set?
If so, we may want to replace the main set photo with one that depicts the 2256
number set.

| With the US Postal Service being hit from all sides lately, and with Halloween
looming, let's hear some good old fashioned shipping horror stories that
we can tell around the fire. Had a package go off into the Bermuda Triangle,
never to be seen again, or suddenly reappear as delivered after months off grid,
or perhaps it simply went on a nice, long vacation/round trip back to your place.
What's your best shipping horror story?

| Might have missed the discussion on this long ago, but... Was looking through
some suitable alternate panels for a build, and wondering why there isn't
some designation on printed and stickered panels whether they are of the solid
or hollow stud variety.
Example:
have A and B designation
[p=2362pb02]
part above is solid, barely evident by photo, but below is unknown
[p=2362pb26]
Shouldn't these also be changed to an A or B designated part number since
the undefined is being phased out?

| As I'm sorting through a huge amount of bulk, I'm tossing aside all the
stickered bricks and printed pieces. Would there be any interest in these parts
as a bulk lot? Looking up all these pieces and listing one by one would be a
daunting task. Maybe list them in smaller batches, with similar parts together?
Say printed slopes together, stickered glass together, and the like? Let me know
your thoughts below.
