In 1984, Tyco was making 1:1 copies of bricks (and sets, more or less). I guess,
Lego was including cards in their sets to let them know not all their patents
were expired.

a childhood set is like a ticket to a time machine.
£300 is very reasonable, in my opinion, but you can set the minimum bid lower.

My question is where would it be best to sell it.
I have no real interest in lego and would like to let it go .
My problem is,Where do I advertise such a thing.
Please help ,once it is sold I will probably never have any lego again.

Are they “made,” or rather “packed,” by LEGO?
If not, I don’t think you can sell them here.

There's a note about the same batteries for the Exo-Force light brick, but
the light up's are less fail-friendly.

Please take this with a grain of salt, but there are office managers who would
happily give theirs away for free (or Craiglist rates), if you'll move it
out for them (or finance a one-time shredding service). For various reasons,
charts are constantly disappearing and cabinets need new homes.

I highly highly recommend the chart cabinets used in medical offices. Electronic
records are driving them to extinction, but it's an opportunity to get the
best at a bargain.

My husband built me one with 16 of the Akro Mills units and a lazy susan off
Amazon. Mine has smaller wheel bc it just rolls 5ft on tile but you could put
big heavy duty casters on it for carpet too.

Just .02 as a hobby builder – I store things *as needed* under a long row of
tables, and use the top(s) as a big desk / display area. I'm trying and failing
to work out a revolving (sushi bar) rail system similar to the one we use the
kitchen for 'dead space', to keep everything at a uniform height.
