|So Cal native who grew up on Star Wars, Legos, and Atari 2600. After university I spent a few years in Japan teaching English. I lived and worked in a small farming town a couple hours outside of Tokyo. There wasn't much to do after work, but there were a few shops that sold used J-pop CDs. I starting selling CDs on eBay and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the whole process of searching for the CDs, taking photos, listing, mailing them out. It mixed doing something I loved (music) and making some money on the side. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.
A couple years after that I came back to the States and settled down into a normal job. My eBay days were all but done.
Fast forward 15 years, now I'm older with a family. I rediscovered Legos. I introduced my young daughter to them and we've been having fun building and playing together. Hopefully she will grow up having a special place in her heart for the Lego brick.
In the meantime I get to have a little fun shopping and playing with Legos. What could be better?
