Hi fellow AFOL's and others,
I'm annoyed that Bricklink doesn't use the same wording for the various
colours as LEGO does. I guess because they started independently? Are they going
to sync up at some point?
Regardless, I'm looking for Bricklink's Pearl Dark Gray . Does
that match up to LEGO's "Titanium Metallic"?
Also, is that a translation table/chart out there (in English) somewhere that
some very clever person has created to help with this issue?
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Yes. And LEGO names are crap (“Earth”?).

Nope.

Yes. (That and Metallic Dark Grey, which was the previous version of that colour,
from 2000 to 2010.)

http://www.ryanhowerter.net/colors.php (where I got the info for Metallic Dark
Grey)
Thanks in advance for all your help.

I wholeheartedly agree. At least BL names actually make sense (most of the time
)

+1 I think It wouldn’t be a good idea to change to the names lego uses as they
are just “weird”

Facts. BL names, in general, are much better.
I'd still like to see Light Brown changed to something like Bionicle Brown,
though 😛

I would also be very annoyed at having to use LEGO color names like Transparent
Medium Reddish Violet. (whatever that is)

We have a quick chart here for new colors:

A google search returns several results. There are charts on Rebrickable and
Brickowl. The link previously posted for Ryan's site is a good one!
