Takeabrick, my set was bought new and never mixed with other parts. I have both instructions from the set and it shows round top. I have both round top antennas.

1) Instructions are not an accurate source for variants. LEGO uses old renders
in the instructions and old parts in their photographs all the time.
2) The whole point of alternates is to show that someone found and reported a
variant in their set. Just because your set doesn't have it does not mean
that none ever did.

you were only talking about the instructions and I explained (like Jennifer just
did), that instructions are not always accurate when it comes to variants.
When you are saying that your new bought set (never mixed with other parts) has
the round top variant, this confirms that the set came with this variant and
matches this variant as regular part in the set inventory.
So I really don't understand why you submitted this same request to remove
the alternate item with flat top for a second time, after my explanation.
One of the good things on Bricklink is that variants are checked in sets and
we have an alternate items section for new variants that come/came in the same
set.
Both 3957 (regular) and 3957b (alternate) have been confirmed based on new bought
sets, never mixed with other parts. So again, your request will not be approved.
