I'm guessing not. There are 1,308 total items in the catalog with alternate
item numbers. Of those, 172 are sets, 694 are parts, and 442 are gear.

If the functionality of multiple areas of the website can be changed significantly,
as was demonstrated possible with the delightful improvements in June, then surely
the addition of single additional information field applicable only to these
figures isn't asking too much.

Can minifigures have alternate item numbers or not? If so, adding the Element
IDs as alternate item numbers to these minifigures would be an easy way to accomplish
this goal.
I believe this should also be used for adding Element IDs to all of the game
microfigures such as
as well as the new nanofigures such as

One of the things I am discovering about onsite payment, is that is achieves
very little in prodding buyers to complete payment. It saves me maybe 30-60 seconds
per order, but there is no added impetus for the buyer to complete payment quickly.
Therefore I wholeheartedly support this suggestion.

The jumpers with groove started appearing in 2010, so the first production run
of this set most likely had the ungrooved jumpers. These should be added as alternate
parts instead of outright changes.

the actual BL message for a buyer. If you know something I do I'd love to
have that secret...

too hard to update. Is there a way we can see updated stats since 2013 on the
Statistics page? It helps us understand the health and growth of bricklink, plus
it is super cool.

The notes say that early copies have the solid stud head, so it's the same

As far as I know, minifigs are inventoried with the first head they are 'found'
with.
This means that if someone finds it with a 'b' type head first, then
the fig get's inventoried with that head (alltough it is possible many more
figs are found with the 'c'type head). Occasionaly figs are found with
a 'c' type, and later on people find the 'b' type of heads, but
the figs remain with 'c' type, as that's how they are first found
with...
Following that logic, the 'a' type was 'before' the 'b'
type, so the first one found, is 'a' type, the 'b' type for this
particular fig came much much later. It has only been recently BL inventory admins
started to approve changes from 'b' to 'a' type ' still whished
there would be the 'alternate' head option), so from a logic point of
view the request should be 'approved' by the IA's and the cadmins
should change the note towards Y2K re-issues would carry a 'blocked open
stud', as it would better fit the timeline and current 'policy' on
the heads.

Ask the seller which version the head is.
They won't have two different versions of the same minifigure with different
head studs in the catalogue. There are many instances where sets have come with
both blocked open and recessed studs and only one is catalogued.
You are correct that you might get the wrong head with a complete set. But then
if you reverse it, buyers of 10000-1 would get the wrong heads.

What does "charges actual postage" mean? This would need to be spelled out exactly
by bricklink. For example, is it just the stamps cost, stamps plus VAT where
a seller needs to charge VAT, stamps plus the packaging cost, etc.

| I want to order many Duplo parts. They are so heavy that the shipping cost is
higher than the price it self.
So, I want to search a store (or all stores in a country) for "Duplo" parts order
by "price per weight" up (price/weight). Finging those parts which are cheap
(relative to their weight).
This 'price density' is a bit too strange.
Therefore, I will request feature of ordering by 'weight' alone.
(I can then compare the price density mentally on my own)

I don't think we need yet another way-point on the road to auto-checkout.
We just need to skip to the finish line. Once auto-checkout exists, all those
problems are solved.
