FWIW I can't reproduce but not great to have the specific error shown to
end users.

looking for something, try switching to 'catalog items' instead as the
search works there.

Still failing for me for "all items" search, on android phone and tablet
(both Opera and Brave), Windows 11 (Chrome and Edge) and Fedora (Firefox and
Brave).

on Chrome, Samsung browser, & DuckDuckGo on Android.
So I’d say it’s not a browser problem but something in the middle.
