It took me one hour to submit this inventory change request. TakeAbrick may reject
this request for whatever reason or just because. I have no power to stop her

She happened to misinterpret my sense of humor to the fact that I don't have

Anyway, the sources are one NIB copy and one set of spare bags for this set.
Other than that, I do not know what to provide for this request.
There are two groups of photos of sealed bags that I have. Obviously, they don't
show quantities of parts. We checked the quantity carefully without opening bags
of the NIB copy that my contact in Hong Cong has.
I have also a file of what was found in each bag.

Like I am making it up and like I was not really stressed my 1-hour work to just
fill out the inventory forms (plus 5 hours work to study this set with the owner
of NIB copy and spending $$ on it) go wasted by you pressing on "reject"

I have one sealed copy that I personally checked and confirmed these quantities.
I also did a video call with the owner of a second NIB copy, and in both cases
these quantities were verified and consistent. I already explained this earlier.
In the attached photos (one from each sealed bag), the quantities are clearly
visible:
First photo (from my sealed spare lot): 6 yellow windows can be easily spotted.
Second and third photos (and fourth and fifth) (bag “8” of the NIB copy in Hong
Kong):
-Six yellow windows can be spotted.
- Four red windows can also be spotted: three are visible in one photo, and the
fourth is visible on top of the red door (which explains why it is not visible
in the other photo).
So if this change had been submitted in a single request as:
10 3001 to 20 3001old
then it would have been acceptable, but because it was submitted in two requests:
10 3001 to 10 3001old
3001 from 10 to 20
it is now considered incorrect? This feels like excessive nit-picking.
For the record, I maintain a Word file with a table listing how many of each
part appears in each bag (bags numbered by color). In that file, I did not initially
include the 3001 ↔ 3001old changes. Those were later verified using photos from
the NIB copy in Hong Kong and from my own sealed lot.
This change request already contained around 110 changes, which took me approximately
one hour to complete. I was concerned about losing work, as an open inventory
change request can expire after a few minutes.
I later checked my other brickstore file (that has the parts in my spare of sealed
bags) based on that I will need to submit one more change request to add as alternate
2x4 bricks 3001 in blue. There is one other change request that I missed and
did not submit after this request (for a different brick that those included
in this change request).
So I'm having my doubts now if I can rely on the other quantities.
I had no doubt that you would come up with your doubts. However, forum readers
can clearly see that the following two requests are distinct:

This change request was made correctly. This comment suggests you did not review
the photos carefully.
All 2×4 bricks are 3001 (with cross supports) except the blue ones. There are
4 bricks in each of bags 11, 13, 14, and 16, totaling 16 bricks. The quantity
and variant for the blue 3001 bricks was already correct in the inventory so
I did not submit any request for them for this request that was based on the
NIB copy in HongKong.

I need to add that this is not an isolated case. Over time, a large proportion
of my submissions have been rejected, whether measured by percentage or total
number. Each submission takes time and repeated checking, and repeated outright
rejections are discouraging.
In previous cases handled by the previous admin, submissions were discussed or
clarification was requested instead of immediate rejection. I do not understand
why that approach is no longer applied.
Another issue is visibility: I often do not know which requests were rejected,
as older rejected submissions disappear from the activity page if not reviewed
immediately. This makes it difficult to learn from past decisions.
Over the years, I have also heard from multiple sellers that they prefer not
to submit to the catalog, which suggests that this experience is not unique.
I am continuing to submit because I want to contribute, but the current approach
makes that increasingly frustrating.

FYI: a blue box - in the inventory change log - means it's changed on the
admin site and admins don't get credit for that.
So yes, please resubmit this request for the red bricks as:
10 3001 to 20 3001old
For the record, I maintain a Word file with a table listing how many of each
part appears in each bag (bags numbered by color). In that file, I did not initially
include the 3001 ↔ 3001old changes. Those were later verified using photos from
the NIB copy in Hong Kong and from my own sealed lot.
This change request already contained around 110 changes, which took me approximately
one hour to complete. I was concerned about losing work, as an open inventory
change request can expire after a few minutes.
I later checked my other brickstore file (that has the parts in my spare of sealed
bags) based on that I will need to submit one more change request to add as alternate
2x4 bricks 3001 in blue. There is one other change request that I missed and
did not submit after this request (for a different brick that those included
in this change request).
As for 3001 versus 3001old.
In the images of the sealed bags I at least found 3001 in Blue and White so far.
You didn't add change requests for the blue ones, but you did request to
change all 3001 white to 3001old white.
Regarding 3001 vs 3001old:
This change request was made correctly. This comment suggests you did not review
the photos carefully.

All 2×4 bricks are 3001 (with cross supports) except the blue ones. There are
4 bricks in each of bags 11, 13, 14, and 16, totaling 16 bricks. The quantity
and variant for the blue 3001 bricks was already correct in the inventory so
I did not submit any request for them for this request that was based on the
NIB copy in HongKong.

except the blue ones.

including images of the sealed bags showing the bottom of the brick.

I will discuss both in our next admin meeting. Until then my advise is not to
remove or add changes.
I am concerned that further rejections may continue, requiring repeated resubmissions
and effort from me. It would be preferable if a different inventory admin could
process my requests.
Besides the now still pending requests for which I asked more evidence, all requests
to add or remove or change quantities were accepted. FYI it was my suggestion
to do so in our admin meeting, for you checked all sealed bags. And as a team
we decided that these changes would be more reliable than an inventory based
on 'Set Box/Picture'.
If you are concerned that further rejections may continue, be sure you provide
the proper evidence when needed: for variants like 3001, 3001old, but also 'Road
Signs', 'Decorated Bricks' and 'Strings', we need info and
images from sealed sets. This is the only way to 'not being concerned for
rejections anymore'.

I would like to clarify the requirement, as I am having difficulty understanding
how a submission for string length can meet this standard in practice. If the
set must be sealed, the string itself cannot be directly measured or visually
confirmed inside the box.
Could you please provide a concrete example of an acceptable source or wording
that would allow a submitter to change the string length from “undetermined”
to a specific value (e.g., 75 cm)?

I didn't take photos when I still had the bags sealed. At that time, I asked
catalog/inventory admin multiple times to process this inventory while I still
have the sealed bags but I got radio silence. I waited a few months.
I checked my photos but these bricks are not visible. I didn't imagine it
would be possible to distinguish the surface print versus embossed print.
Now I already opened the bags and still have these parts and can take a photo
of them. .
I also asked the owner of NIB copy in Hong Kong to run a pen on these bricks
and test if he feels any fraction. Both bricks in his copy have surface print.
