Hi,
I listed items which I could order from lego pick a brick, I got 3 sales, so
I placed order on lego pick a brick and now I see that my store is suspended,
because of terms violation. I have to complete these orders, because otherwise
I will just lose my money ;/
Can I complete orders and then remove all items I recently added from pick a
brick on my store?

Do you have any idea, what could it be? I never had problems with any order from
my store, it says "Reason: Violation of BrickLink's Terms of Service"

I doubt that is the reason.
This response was assuming you were buying from PAB and then selling tge parts,
not selling the parts then drop shipping from PAB.
Not only do you have to own the parts you sell (to ensure the order can be fulfilled),
you were also drop shipping from LEGO. If they wanted to sell direct to customers
through BL, they'd sell on BL themselves.

Am I reading this correctly? You have a store and you were not physically in
possession of items, when people ordered from you, you would then order from
Lego pick a brick and then fill the orders?
So in saying that, the items in your store, you were never physically in possession
of?
Or, we you taking orders for items not in your store and then ordering from Lego
and having Lego ship the orders to the Bricklink buyers?
Yeah, if you put it like that then it doesnt sound good, I posted some items
like that, because I was also orderding something from pick a brick and then
it came cheaper for all.

How is it cheaper for all? ANY person on Bricklink could order from pick a brick
through the various Lego websites, using their own VIP card and get the bricks
without your mark up, without added vat etc and whilst doing so earn VIP points?

Nothing wrong with buying stock from PAB, but you have to have it physically
in your possession before you can list it on the site.
Of course I can delete these items after I deliver these orders, but bricklink
could write it to me ;/
How about when a buyer enters your store you actually have these items you are
trying to sell in your store so that buyer can get these items immediately? I
wont even get into the cost of such things?
Okay, thats understandable, but they could email me that it has to be deleted
otherwise they will suspend my store, excluding that there was no reason to close
my store, because I never had any problems with customers.

When you agree to abide by the written rules. Read this Copy/paste from BL terms....
Exact quantity: The quantity of the item that you are listing for sale must not
be greater than the quantity you have physical possession of in the country in
which your BrickLink store is registered. Drop shipping is not permitted. The
only exception to this is a custom fan magazine that has to be pre-ordered and
the Buyer is made aware of this in the item description.
Then do not follow them, Why does someone have to alert you before taking appropriate
action?

Yep. Being ignorant of laws, terms, rules, etc. that you agree to when living
in a society, joining a service, playing a sport, etc. does not waive your guilt
when you break said laws, terms, or rules. Being given a chance to rectify your
wrongdoing is not a right; it is a privilege granted by some. BrickLink has become
very strict about policing the ToS without notification, so I would assume that
they adhere to the you-agreed-to-the-ToS-when-joining-so-you-should-know-what-to-expect
mentality.

Careful Randy, your fangs are showing
I was just stating facts that there is a clear breach of ToS and that BrickLink
does not have to do anything to notify you of said breach. And by the actions
taken, BrickLink obviously felt no need to notify the individual of the breach.
I didn't state whether I thought the practice to be either right or wrong.
However, if you want my own thoughts, I believe BrickLink should set up a system
to notify users of infractions and give them a chance to conform to the terms
before taken such severe action.

Yes but no, penalty should be proportionate. Having a legal background I can
say for certain in penalty and sentencing principles that it is not about "punishment",
it's about rehabilitation or the potential to be rehabilitated.
What Randy says about ToS is 100%, likewise what you say is a mitigating factor.
The real question is if this conduct occurred for the better part of that 3 years
and was only detected now...........see the issue? And if it was allowed to continue
unabated (detected or not) would the store owner have a reason to believe he
had a legitimate expectation that what has occurred would or would not occur.
Give him 30 days, have proof of stock and a repeat offence is a ban.

Goodnight...
Lol, I might be the new old guy too? Well I probably am a lot older than you!
Jokes on you tho! I’m not in my basement! I’m upstairs using an oral irrigator
(French) rn
On a side note, are you supposed to see the metal behind the button on your tooth
brush?
Firstly, Good Morning!
I do have several new sealed bionicle lego/colgate toothbrushes! I take no position
on if they are good or bad since they were from about 2003. Actually I have about
124 left.

Umm, what did you do?!?
If that’s what the button looks like I’d hate to see the bit that goes in your
mouth
I might have to send the Nubs benevolent society a complimentary lego toothbrush
That way we can all sleep at night knowing that Nubs teeth are cleaned to the
TLG quality standards
I really did have 500 of them lol. I bought all this crazy stuff in a store liquidation
sale (as in the store was being liquidated).
If I’m correct, THATS A LIFETIME SUPPLY!!! Fear cavity’s no more folks! Pick
up you oral super scrubber today for only 4.99 plus tax!
lol, I get $40.00 bucks a piece for them in 50 qty lots. All to the same person
You’ll just have to watch that Nubs doesn’t try to resell them on eBay for 80
The person I on sell them do does exactly that I think for 70.00. Amazes me people
would even buy a toothbrush for 70.00. As embarrassing and at the same time amusing
this is to admit, when I made the offer there was 2 huge boxes of them. I offered
250.00, the insolvency dude said 350 and they are yours hahhahaha. So I got them
for 350.00. But I did spend about 4k that day in total.
I thouhgt I was buying a couple of huge boxes of toothbrushes to butter up the
Agent so I could get better deals and we moved forward. I was just going to give
them away to a womens shelter or something like that.

I thought about it, but the whole "custom" listing and no attention without
a part number etc etc had a very negative effect. I only have another 125, and
the person I deal with wants another 50 at the end of the month and we have a
verbal agreement for a final 70 by Xmas.

If not, consider paying forward to the catalog effort, by uploading the
model while you still possess one. If you don’t wanna go through the bother,
consider uploading a decent pic here in the forum, one of the many helpful members
hereabouts will no doubt help complete the process. If you do, maybe a pic of
the back too.
There aren't as many Bionicle fans anymore it seems, but they are amongst
the more devout of Lego collectors and no doubt would appreciate more access
to these types of (very cool) older items.

up you oral super scrubber today for only 4.99 plus tax!
lol, I get $40.00 bucks a piece for them in 50 qty lots. All to the same person
You’ll just have to watch that Nubs doesn’t try to resell them on eBay for 80
The person I on sell them do does exactly that I think for 70.00. Amazes me people
would even buy a toothbrush for 70.00. As embarrassing and at the same time amusing

When I go into the cave later I will pull a couple out. There were 4 or 5 different
kinds. I always intended keeping one of each as a collector. 1 was definitely
bionicle, 2 were minifig based Jack stone and variant. The other I am not sure,
but was basically encapsulated and was a fury animal like a wookie, but not a
wookie.
As for the catalogue effort. Well I tried that with the 852751 Pirate Chess as
I have 3 of them. I felt Bricklinks Photos didn't not show the beauty of
the set rather just a photo of the cover, perhaps the back, I can't recall
right now. I wanted to provide the catalogued photos of the set opened up to
its beauty, front and back and most importantly how the minifigs were displayed
in the new/sealed 10/10 set.
Apparently Bricklink is happy with the way the set is advertised, which I find
to be tragic, because when it opens up from its clipped suitcase format and displays
all the minifigs in new/sealed condition its definately a piece of art!

route just give me a heads up (in that message with the images) and i can work
on getting the entires made

I will shoot you them in an email Nubs as I don't know how to do it on Bricklink.
I may not be a Lego Newbie, But I am barely an infantile with a runny nose when
it comes to Bricklink and navigating it. Crikey I am still trying to work out
how when people do orders with me they are not compelled to use Paypal in Canada
and could use EMT to avoid the Paypal fee and I can pass on that discount. But
I have only had 11 orders.
I actually just rechecked my emails on these issues and someone named "Jonas"
did reach out to me on June 4, 2024 and for some reason I didn't send him
a response.
Going out to the Calgary Brickcon shortly and then have some of those people
coming over for trades. Seems I am parting with a couple of Venatadors, a Falcon
and AT-AT's today for some early BL19$%^& including a very sexy.
I am a bad BDP junkie, who else owns 7 x Eight Studs hahahahah.
Your stuff is safe, infact I am not even going to let people see it. I can avoid
requests that way hahahhahahahah.

Only 1 away from achieving the perfect collection! Most people say they have

I just clicked on that link, 2 of them were definitely as listed the other 2
or 3, maybe have been 4 different types are not. I will look a little later but
I have believe the name on the packages were Johnson, or Jackson. But definitely
not on that list you provided in the link
Hi,
I listed items which I could order from lego pick a brick, I got 3 sales, so
I placed order on lego pick a brick and now I see that my store is suspended,
because of terms violation. I have to complete these orders, because otherwise
I will just lose my money ;/
Can I complete orders and then remove all items I recently added from pick a
brick on my store?
Please help!!
It’s probably because you didn’t physically have the items when you listed the
parts…

I'm curious, were you given an opportunity to rectify your "violation
of terms" before or even after your store's closure and your seller status
being revoked? It's obvious to some, what the breach of ToS was. But was
it made explicit to you the affected member, at any time?

I just got information that my store is suspended and couldnt even rectify from
that, no specific information, I did not receive any email about that, not even
about my suspension. "Longer delivery, parts directly from lego store hence
longer delivery(up to 3 weeks)" I wrote that on every item that could be
bought from pick a brick and was in my store.

What I thought. Let's see if admin gets involved, now that it's been
made public. Hold tight. They are very responsive and hardworking, the BL leadership
As an aside, you're going to have feedback problems shipping orders 3 weeks
(or longer) after you receive the order.

And it wouldn't surprise me if they got cancellations or PayPal claims for
non-delivery before the order was even shipped, and then have the issue of trying
to cancel at LEGO.
Also likely that eventually LEGO would take action against the account if every
order is shipped to a different address or country.

There was a store a few years back that listed just about every part in the catalogue
at very high prices and would place orders with other BrickLink sellers whenever
they got an order. It wasn't exactly dropshipping since they would receive
the parts and ship them out.
