I'm new on this website and i'd like to sell some sets/minifig I have
(u can see which one on my store) but i need some advices.
if you have time, could u answer my questions ? TY
- are my prices high or low ?
- generally speaking, how long does it take to sell a lego star wars set?
- do I have to add a photo instead of using the briclink pic ?
- anything to say about my shopping fees etc... (terms)
thank you in advance for your answers !
1. If you price them at or below the 6 month's sales average, they are probably
a decent price.
2. At your current size, you will probably have a harder time selling in a quick
time period.
3. You can use the Bricklink Picture, there is nothing wrong woth it
4. I don't see anything wrong with your terms/shipping. If you want better
advice about that, wait for Nubs the pizza lover
the problem with the 6 month's sales average is that we dont know the state/minfig,
box missin or not but i get it, its more to find out about buyer trends
the personnalized photo allows me to stand ouf from the others sellers (but it's
maybe not the best thing to do to sell)
wdym by "ur current size" ? are u referrin to my number of reviews, the
number of sets I sell?

In that case filter by your country (on the fig you want to find the value for)
then look at the item discriptions to evaluate the condition and how much they
want for it.
Say fig A is damaged and they want 2.45, but fig B (same item) is in good condition
and they want 6.23, so if yours say has light wear you should price it around
5.80 ish.
the personnalized photo allows me to stand ouf from the others sellers (but it's
maybe not the best thing to do to sell)
Only use a custom photo for things like sets or expensive items if you must,
taking a picture for every item is a waste of time

I did notice one thing. In your terms you have this
“ I do not accept orders under 20 euros.”
However you minimum buy is only 10 euros so you may want to change that up. Also
a slight thing that might make it sound better in your terms is you have a line
something like “for duplicates I want to get rid of” which could potentially
leave a bad taste to some people reading it so people might prefer it if you
were to say something along the lines of “duplicated which I want to find a new
home for” or such
Best of luck!

Modern-day pizza evolved from the flat bread dishes of Naples, Italy hundreds
of year ago. In fact, still today, Naples maintains some of the best, if not
most prideful, pizzerias in the world
As the founder of the BL forum pizza gang, I'd expect more from you

Pizzas, that according to my former partner (stationed two years in the region)
will make you believe again
Maybe a vote of no-confidence should be considered amongst the pizza gang membership

I wouldn’t jump to that I was referencing a specific emoji used and not
the entirety of pizza history

I'll admit you got me confused . It was a pepperoni pizza emoji (American
food) in response to a french user's response. there must be some form of
food backstory here that time missing beyond the simple "pizza is from Italy"
thing 😅😅

That said, you may wanna consider not reflexively throwing the pizza reference
(emoji or otherwise) onto every post Being slightly more discerning, might
make for a more effective campaign or promotion

left to post!

From a quick google search
“ In fact, pepperoni did come from Italy, but only in concept. The flavors found
in pepperoni were often recreated in dishes, but not as complete processed meat.
As Italian immigrants arrived to the United States at the end of the 19th century,
they began using American ingredients to recreate their favorite flavors.”

I'm new on this website and i'd like to sell some sets/minifig I have
(u can see which one on my store) but i need some advices.
if you have time, could u answer my questions ? TY
- are my prices high or low ?
Seem about average, you may want to lower the prices on your incomplete sets
a little bit, otherwise they may take awhile to sell
- generally speaking, how long does it take to sell a lego star wars set?
Look at the 6 months sale average, incomplete sets do take a little longer to
sell.
oh interesting to know
- do I have to add a photo instead of using the briclink pic ?
No, but adding photos for the incomplete sets is a good idea
- anything to say about my shopping fees etc... (terms)
thank you in advance for your answers !
ok thanks for your advices, i have one more question, do you think the fact i
only have 1 review is resilient for a buyer ?
No reviews on your store could definitely effect customers thoughts on buying,
but we all started with nothing and we are ok, so don’t worry to much.
The explanation of what you are doing definitely helps reduce the suspicion of
careful buyer, maybe add a store announcement banner saying you are new here
and looking to sell your collection just in case

we are all independent sellers on here so no need to put that in all your remarks.
if you are listing incomplete sets be sure to also list what is missing.
Your terms are difficult to read with French and English mixed together.
I would put French first (since its your native language) and the English translation
below that.
That flag counter does not add any value to your store in my opinion (especially
because the numbers in there are incorrect)

High & low prices are dependant on a few things, mainly country/location & availability.
For example some of my prices are high, some are low.
I have only had my store for 2 months with 7 sales based on hundreds of sets. This
time of the year is very slow for everyone in Lego among other things in life.
So even if you feel things are slow things should pick up for people in a few
weeks time and decline again around April/May 2025.
If you want things to sell quick, price them to sell quickly, people love discounts.
If you dont care how long it takes, price them at what you want for them.
The advice others have given you is good advice, but most of what you ask is
dependant on your needs, not your expectations or what others think.

The advice others have given you is good advice, but most of what you ask is
dependant on your needs, not your expectations or what others think.
I have to ask because you’re new to Bricklink. You say that the “new” minifigures
you have are from your personal collection. Were these ever displayed (or had
a weapon attached to their hand or anything else)? Essentially anything other
than immediately putting a figure into storage makes it “used”.

(terms)

New Parts - Parts are brand new, taken directly from new sets or were purchased
as New in another form such as accessory packs or Pick a Brick and have been
handled only for sorting. These parts have never been used in any manner.

or more specifically this seciton
"Minifigures are brand new, taken directly from new sets or purchased as
new in another form such as accessory packs or Pick a Brick and have been handled
only for sorting. Minifigures may be listed as New either assembled or unassembled.
Minifigures that have been displayed must be listed as Used."

that's a good question because I don't really know the criteria for “new”, I put new because they're intact, never exposed to the sun, never had a gun in my hand, never put on a lego brick
but I've had them for a while, so they couldn't be considered “new”.
by the way, I have a question related to this subject, when we say that the set
is “complete” or “incomplete” are we talking about the ship or the whole set,
i.e. minifig, instructions, box etc...
ty for ur answer !

Condition (new/used) has nothing to do with the age of an item. It is to do with
usage. If it hasn't been used, it is new. If it has been used, it is used.
An item you have had for a week and used is used. An item you have had for 10
years and never used is new.

Mark them as used, but put in the notes something like "in perfect condition"
most buyers will ignore the used part if they are in good shape, but don't
put the word new anywhere in the notes otherwise they could be delisted.
