| Dear All,
I am having some issue with international buyers at the moment as they are struggling
to purchase from my store due to the minimum purchase being too high. My minimum
purchase is set at £10 and should be the same for everyone.
I had someone in specific want to purchase a £49 Lego set from the Czech Republic
today but he emailed me letting me know Bricklink said my minimum price to the
Czech Republic was £130.
I have looked all over my store and can't see anywhere where my minimum buy
has been set this high. Can anyone help me sort this issue out or explain why
this is the case?
Kind Regards,
Tim

| Not sure how I can help, but I can confirm that I would have the same issue...
in the main page it says: "Seller does not support orders shipping to Germany
when item total is equal to or less than €150."

| It sounds like it's probably due to some tax issues

| You need onsite payment so bricklink can collect sales tax. Either onsite PayPal
or onsite stripe

Apparently you don't ship to the US either.

| Guys, it’s been running for 3 years now (for the US, 2 for UK/UE…).
(I’m mostly talking to the forum habitués… but a seller should have seen it earlier
too.)
The “symptoms” are always the same: store’s terms say it ships but there’s a
message that says they don’t or they do but with a big minimum.
So, here’s the usual blurb:
An Onsite payment method is mandatory for BL to be able to collect the
taxes.
That means PayPal Onsite (not Paypal) or Stripe.
If the order is not paid this way, buyer and sellers are liable for tax evasion:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1401495
BrickLink collects taxes in these situations:
— US Sales tax: most US buyers, when they buy from any seller for any amount,
— UK import VAT: UK buyers, when they buy from non-UK sellers for less than £135,
— EU import VAT: EU buyers, when they buy from non-EU sellers for less than €150.
— Australian GST: GST buyers, when they buy from non-AU sellers for less than
AU$1000.
(UK/EU VAT and AU GST are directly paid by the buyer for other amounts. Domestically
(intra-UK / intra-EU / intra-AU), it’s handled by the sellers when necessary.)
