I have two 61800 parts from the 42117 set. But one wing with a tilt, the other
without. Is it a marriage or is it a completely different detail ?
I suspect it's bent. If it came from a new set you can ask Lego to replace
the part, there's a form on their homepage here:

Please clarify BrickLink's position on this item from the discussion forum
rules (and preferably clarify in writing within the rules themselves):
6. No active promotion of a competitor's website. Linking to other websites
that offer items for sale that can be sold on the site is also not allowed.
Does this rule seriously apply to other websites owned and operated by
the LEGO Group? Is it safe to provide links to BrickLink, which is also owned
by the same company that apparently bans links to itself?

Further, if posting links in the discussion forum to official LEGO websites is
prohibited, then why does BrickLink itself link to the official LEGO website
on its Links page?
Clicking that LEGO website link goes straight to a page that offers items for
sale from TLG.
Again, I'm confused about the forum rules and am asking for official clarification.

This thread will make you shake your head even more, especially now that PAB
will now be a competitor to all sellers via the MOC popup store.

Also the ToS mention that users agree not to:
10.5. Linking: Link to pages outside of the Site. Users must not link from their
Splash Page, Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy, About Me page or from their
listings of items for sale, to another site. If you experience another user linking
to a page outside of the Site, you may submit a Problem Member Report.
But questioning BL directly regarding BL itself having the link is the way, as
you already did too.

I think the philosophy is as follows: Though LEGO.com and BrickLink.com are both
owned by the LEGO Group, BrickLink only makes money from sales made through
BrickLink.com. SylvainLS has interpreted this rule very literally and will cancel
posts that directly link to LEGO.com, but generally won't cancel posts that
merely mention items for sale on LEGO.com without directly linking to it or posts
that link to other sites that link to LEGO.com (such as BrickLink.com itself).
Now, that's just my interpretation. Maybe SylvainLS himself can jump in to
clarify. I can understand if you disagree and think that direct links to LEGO.com
should be allowed in the forum. Terms such as active promotion, competitor,
website, linking, and offer items for sale are all subjective.
Personally, if I were moderator, I would cancel all posts that contain links
to any website except for my own BrickLink store.
