Is it possible to replace battery in lightsaber minifigures without damaging
them ?

Does the hood normally come off as the rest of the figure appears fixed, what
colour should it be ?

I have an sw0137 that fails to light

Good video! But why didn't he remove head and cape, this would have helped.
Or they're attached in a way (never had one myself)?

The head appears to be fixed, rotates and moves up and down a tiny distance but
cannot be removed.

Correct.

However it seems that, on mine at least, you can remove the hood.

I think the hood should be brown rather than red brown but can’t be certain,
anyone have one they can check for me ?

Thanks in advance.

yup only the headgear and one arm and the back can be removed on light-up figures.

should be reddish brown based off the fact reddish brown is used in the set it
came in

  Thanks in advance.

The unique left arm does not seem to be in the catalog. Did I miss it?

Watch the video in this thread. It is unique in that it is designed to barely
enter the torso as real estate is limited in there.

That's an excellent video. I used it to replace the batteries in 3 light-up
figs. As long as you have a couple of jeweler's tools it works really well.

Just to confuse things.

What colour hair goes with sw0121 ?

The set uses red brown parts but his hair ( 4530 ) doesn’t exist in red brown,
only light brown and brown, similar figure without fixed lightsaber uses light
brown.

My figure appears to have a bitten red brown hair piece, could be wrong but it
seems redder than my brown versions.

Can someone check what they have on their figure, thank you.

No red brown are listed for sale which seems to confirm that this doesn’t exist
in known sets, minifigures etc.

It's definitely light brown.

Would you be able to provide an image of this figure and the other one without
the hair/hood, the 1x1 round plate and the lightsaber bar? That would help us
to finally add proper inventories for these figures.

Cheers.

Thanks for posting this, missed Turez requests.

I’ll see what I can do too.

to finally add proper inventories for these figures.

i just got the obi-wan one in a lot and can provide more photos if needed

oh and for the dimensions should i remove the lightsaber or keep it on

I would say don't remove the lightsaber (i.e. the 4L bar), as the figure
came assembled with it when it was new and it could get lost more easily when
stored or shipped separately.

I have these if they are of any use, however I’ve no idea what number to submit
them as for components of sw0121 and sw0137.

Nice! I’m replying to this under catalogue requests so hopefully an admin sees
it

Many thanks - could you please send the original image files to catalog@bricklink.com?
The upload through the forum makes them smaller than necessary, so it would be
nice to have larger images for the catalog entries.
It will likely take a while until we have time to proceed with this little project
(probably not before we are done with all the new summer sets and parts), but
in any case it is very helpful to have the images ready.

I believe they are Pearl Light Gray if I remember correctly. However, I could
be wrong as I do not own any of them.

Cheers,

Sadly they are missing from my figures, need to replace them with correct colour.

Thanks for the info.

Same, I’ve come across like 4-5 of them now but none have had the stud so I also
don’t know yet

They are Pearl Light Gray. That part never came in the unrecognized weird silver,
so no need to worry about alternates with these.

Perfect! Thanks for the heads up

Is it possible to replace battery in lightsaber minifigures without damaging
them ?

Does the hood normally come off as the rest of the figure appears fixed, what
colour should it be ?

I have an sw0137 that fails to light

Minifig No: sw0137 Name: Obi-Wan Kenobi - Trans-Light Blue Light-Up Lightsaber
*
sw0137 Obi-Wan Kenobi - Trans-Light Blue Light-Up Lightsaber
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 3

Take the non saber arm off then pry the back off through the arm-hole with a
small screwdriver. Any head accessory should come off. In this case it’s a reddish
brown hood.
