The regular inventory shown in the catalog is the list of parts without stickers
applied. You can add a part with a sticker on it as a "counterpart." Before
you can add a counterpart to an inventory, you will have to first add the stickered
part to the catalog.

is as follows:
(1) Add the stickered part to the BrickLink catalog:
(3) Fill out an Inventory Change Request to add the stickered part to the set
