| How difficult is it to disassemble these two parts once they're attached
together? Do you need tools or do they come apart relatively easily?
Thanks in advance for assistance. And then probably after, too.

| I use two axles and a tee part to get these apart and press down onto a solid
surface, watch your face as they can fly. At times I just can't separate
them and give up. I'd also check to make sure nothing is damaged afterwards
(apart from the axles which will be bent).

| If you search the internet, there are a few tutorials on how to separate these
elements. I once set up a home-made jig for this very process.

| I assume you're asking this because of the assembled heads which are pending
since last summer?
I had some of them as a child and, as far as I remember, I never managed to disassemble
them. Unfortunately I sold them many years ago (assembled, of course), so I can't
check again myself. But my answer would be: Extremly difficult and nearly impossible
without special tools like
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Nodus
The fact that many sellers list these heads (especially the light gray ones)
with eye/brain connector attached may also give a hint to this question.
Regards,
Jonas

I have never been able to disassemble them. So I just list that as 32553 and
then make a note in the comments about which color block is attached. "with trans-green
block attached" for instance

slide in a jack knife blade and twist or make one of the tools from lego parts.
You can find that online. I have never caused damage with the knife to the lego
or my fingers.

Disassembling takes more force than we are used to in LEGO.

| I've really never had any issues separating these. Been a while since I've
done one but they've always come apart easily....

Thank you all for your input. I genuinely appreciate it. The responses were
more than I expected in both quantity and quality. You've all been extremely
helpful.

Thank you very much! Even with a custom made tool, my hands hurt after removing
them... especially when I used to get them in sometimes by the dozens at a time...

Member ElvisandBane is the one who photographed and submitted these and deserves
the thanks. Feel free to send your thanks that way - perhaps you can brighten
someone's day.
