| Hi,
I've opened 5 sealed sets (2021) of
In the inventory list, it says that there's 1 extra part of
But none of my sets has that part as an extra.
Does this need a note in the inventory saying that the extra part wasn't
found in sets from 2021?
Or not, since it's listed as an extra anyway?
I know extra's are not required, but in all the sealed sets I've parted
out in the last couple of years, the extra's were always there.

Probably the best course of action (the safest for future sellers who part out
this set) would be to submit and inventory update to remove the extra part.

Sellers need to check what they get, always. Or simply don’t include the Extras
in the part out.
Uncounted Extras may save you from previous errors (e.g., you have an inventory
of 200, sell twice 100, but actually shipped 101 the first time).
As OP said, Extra parts are extra, they may not be there, not only because of
packing errors, as it’s their main raison d’être, but also because Extras may
differ between production runs and factories.
Considering forum posts, it’s often that USA & EU contents differ.

We won't add notes about extra parts which only appear in some but not all
copies of a set because that happens quite frequently.

This is surprising, because in my experience grille tiles are normally not included
as extra parts with sets.

I've found some weird parts as extras -- during one of my very first
part-outs years ago, 6 copies of 75002 AT-RT, every set had an extra copy of
