Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 7016 Name: Viking Boat against the Wyvern Dragon
*
7016-1 (Inv) Viking Boat against the Wyvern Dragon
99 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2005
Sets: Vikings

* Add 2 Part 3795 Dark Bluish Gray Plate 2 x 6 (Alternate) (match ID 4)
* Change 1 Part Dark Bluish Gray 3032 Plate 4 x 6 {match ID 0 to 4}

Comments from Submitter:
Proof is a correction sheet which I've uploaded as extra instruction image. Will also post it as reponse to this request in forum. At least some of these sets come with this change. If this is considered a redesign, feel free to change match ID to 99.

I don't have this set, so I'm curious why this change was made. It would
seem to me that it would be making the structure less stable, but I'm only
seeing this initial page.

Maybe they temporarily ran out of 4x6 plates, or maybe they had accidentally
packed a million sets with wrong pieces and needed a quick solution?

You bring up an interesting point: BrickLink has no standards for what is considered
a redesigned set (as opposed to alternate parts or other changes over time).
This lack of standards leaves the decision, as in many other areas of BrickLink,
to the whim of whomever is looking at the matter.

In the case of this set, I'm not sure if I would consider it redesigned or
not since there is no obvious rationale for the redesign (no improved stability
or playability, for example).

I will try to put something together and add it to the Help section so that we
can all be clear on what is considered a redesign and what is not. Your requests
were approved.

I would consider this a redesign since alternate instructions were involved.
There are a number of cases like this where a larger part is replaced by two
smaller ones:

Set No: 7245 Name: Prisoner Transport - Black/Green Sticker Version
*
7245-1 (Inv) Prisoner Transport - Black/Green Sticker Version
92 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2005
Sets: Town: City: Police
Of course, the exact reasons for a redesign are not divulged by TLG, so we do
our best instead to come up with a plausible rationale for each case. I would
suppose in most of these cases that it was done to make construction easier.
Here, it seems to make disassembly easier. Perhaps there were a few cases of
kids twisting the boat and breaking the 4 x 6 plate.

  I would consider this a redesign since alternate instructions were involved.

Thanks. In that case, please consider changing the match ID for set

Set No: 4756 Name: Shrieking Shack
*
4756-1 (Inv) Shrieking Shack
432 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2004
Sets: Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban
.
I also recently added an instructions correction sheet for this set, but the
alternate was already in the inventory, so I didn't change anything.

Both sets have been changed to show they were redesigns.

I guess I never thought about it, BTW, but apparently an axle will fit into the
end of this part (as seen in your additional image of the supplemental instructions):

Part No: 3959 Name: Minifigure, Utensil Space Gun / Torch
*
3959 Minifigure, Utensil Space Gun / Torch

I have updated the relevant Help section to include a definition of a redesigned
set (see the last section titled Alternates in Redesigned Sets):
