Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 6362 Name: Post Office
*
6362-1 (Inv) Post Office
128 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1982
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Post Office

* Add 1 Part 3069b White Tile 1 x 2 with Groove (match ID 99)
* Add 1 Part 3069b Blue Tile 1 x 2 with Groove (match ID 99)
* Add 5 Part 3069b Light Gray Tile 1 x 2 with Groove (Alternate) (match ID 99)
* Change {5 to 3} Part Light Gray 3069b Tile 1 x 2 with Groove {match ID 0 to 99}

Comments from Submitter:
This is part of a new project wherein BrickLink inventories are being updated to prominently reflect redesigns made during set production. The Match ID 99 is being used and existing sets which already reflect redesign changes are being updated to show MID 99 for the redesigns.

Al the colors in the regular section are represented by one single color as alternative?

Yes, for the redesign. This is because the nature of these redesigns varies
(parts taken out, new parts thrown in, colors and quantities changed, etc.).
It's easier and neater to indicate all the changes with a single MID - it
also avoids confusion with alternate parts.

The inventory notes are also being updated to include helpful overviews of the
changes made in the redesign.

I don't understand

All tiles, regular or alternative, are with grooves?

Yes, so far as I know. This is not an issue of alternate part variants, but
an issue of the Match ID feature being used in an atypical way to show that the
parts in a set were changed while the set was in production.

So this set originally came with 5 tiles: 1 blue, 1 white, and 3 light gray.
Later versions of the set came with the same 5 tiles, but now all of them were
light gray. This change over time is what the inventory now reflects.

As for the grooved/ungrooved versions, the last ungrooved tile appeared in '79
according the database. Since this set was released in '82, the tile variants
are not an issue.

The redesign was a change of colours.
This set isn’t old enough to have come with ungrooved tiles.

No, sorry, I don't know. That information could be added at some point,
though. Right now the focus is on the basic updates.

Earlier I was confused between tiles (with or without groove)
[p=3069b]
and jumpers (woth or without groove)

Part No: 3794a Name: Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud without Groove (Jumper)
*
3794a Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud without Groove (Jumper)
Parts: Plate, Modified

My set comes indeed with 5 light gray tiles. The instructions shows also 5 light
gray ones and its code is 120246.
