[...] Well, yes, you would have to scrounge up the parts somewhere else besides PaB. BrickLink is one of those choices. PaB is always going to be modern, in-production parts.

(Not an expert.) Type 2 hasn’t been seen in a set since 2016. And it’s only in one set from 2016 where Type 3 is an alternate. So I would rule out finding Type 2 on PaB. [...]
