Hope to see a Le Mans inspirered car in the near future. It would be a great
way to celebrate that the 100 year anniversary of the famous race is coming up.
Also it could put focus on electrical cars which will be introduced as a class
for itself in Le Mans.

Would anyone else love to see Lego come out with a Ford GT creator set? Maybe
one that can toggle race mode on and off?

I would love to see something like this. I really hope they will make a car a
la 24 hours Le Mans style

Absolutely devastated to learn that the Anatomini once again have been put down...How
could they not know from last whether it would be possible to make the design
or not. This was the chance to come up with something totally different both
playable and educational at the same time...

Oh thanks again! Fingers crossed that this is still the plan

Thanks for clarifying. It sure sounds like good news! Could be nice if it at
some point would also include the projects that doesn't make it through the
crowdfunding. But for now it is a great positive step

It looks like this is still happening.
This was part of the FAQ in the beginning:
"What will happen to the designs that don't reach the crowdfunding goal
or are not among the thirteen quickest to hit their goal?

The remaining projects in the crowdfunding phase that don't become BrickLink
Designer Program sets will be sold as digital building instructions only, so
that you can still have an opportunity to find your own bricks to build them."

This hasn't been part of the FAQ for quite some time now.
stocco shared this video on some other subject, but at 5:20:15 they talk
about their plans to sell instructions of projects that won't be realized:
https://youtu.be/bH8YVpyX82g?t=19215 It still seems to be the plan to have these
instructions for sale.

Not with any fanfares, but it is not in the updated FAQ anymore and they use
the word publicly. But I'm not sure about it, so I wrote looks
like
. And it does to me. Seems like a nice move on their part, too. And one
could take this as an announcment, I guess.
I, for one, am glad there will be PDF instructions.

Old FAQ: "Will there be printed building instructions? No, the
building instructions will be available in a digital form. Only the set owners
will have access
to those digital building instructions."

Current FAQ: "Will there be printed building instructions?

No, the building instructions will be available in a digital form.

Designer Program sets will feature digital building instructions provided by
the LEGO® Building Instructions app. Digital instructions not only reduce cost,
they help us fulfil our Planet Promise by using less paper and saving on shipping
weight, which in turn reduces emissions while delivering your set to you.

The app lets you zoom, rotate and view your model in 3D and ghost view mode to
see how far you’ve come and what part you’re in the process of building. The
LEGO Building Instructions app is great at keeping track of complex builds and
makes it easy to save your building steps online so you can recycle instruction
books.

PDF building instructions will also be made publicly available when sets
begin shipping."

@Wettfink, thanks for always delivering up to date info. I can find the first
part of your answer "PDF building instructions... will be publicly available..."
but have TLG also announced that the instructions will not be limited for set
owners only...?

Ok, so the new date changes nothing but adds frustration, was also hoping to
get a Castle set, but that's the one that won't be available for a second
run.

Not sure how you set the quantity limits, but you could have checked the interest
of buying the sets with bricklink users first to get an idea.

The last program had a castle set and everything was limited to 2500. They were
obviously surprised by the demand this time. Market research seems to be problematic
for TLG. I would love to know how many castles they could have sold.

But "PDF building instructions will also be made publicly available when sets
begin shipping." And no more "instructions for set owners only" in the FAQ.
Looks like they are listening and making it easy to build the set for everyone
who is willing to source the parts.
