  Need some opinions...

When you get an order and ship it out, do you print out their order and put it
in the package, and if so do you use color or black and white. Or do you not
even put one at all? Currently, I print out one sided black and white and was
told by my significant other that looks bad and cheap. Thoughts?

I once was browsing and came across a seller who said in his terms that he would
provide a color order with checks for each item saying they were in the box if
the order was over 1000 pieces. I assume he did this so people would feel they
were getting quality handiwork for a lot of money.
(Obviously this makes no sense for massive stores, but for smaller stores I thought
this is a nice touch)

I'm just curious what are some of the preferred methods of cleaning assembled
Lego. I have some bookcases with about 30 Lego builds. I've noticed (the
white ones especially) have started to gather a fine layer of particulate.

Does anyone perform routine cleaning on their builds?

- Feather Duster
- Air Blower
- Acrylic Cases
- Take apart, give a bath, and rebuild
- Leave it; don't worry; it's Lego

I have the entire minifig scale Hogwarts from 2021-2023, built a perfect surrounding
grounds for it, and then...put it where the most dust in my house gathers .
I use different sizes of paint brushes and a feather duster to keep it nice,
although I recently watched a YouTube video about a vacuum specifically for cleaning
Lego bricks. Clean My Bricks, I believe it was called, if I wasn't so concerned
with having to fit Barad-Dur into my Lego budget, I would get it

Maybe some stores need to offer some good sales to jump start things.

Is 60% off enough? I’ve only had 4 orders this month and they were all under
$4 before shipping

The (admittedly few, since I mainly buy sets and have a large passed down collection)
orders I have placed on this site have been stores with high quantities of the
part I want. Me and a couple buddies building a MOC have been waiting for a store
to list more than 100 2x1x3s in Dark Tan since January, I got about 130 when
they did pop up for .09c a piece in one store.
I think right now looking for high quantities of parts at a sale price would
do stores a lot of good-as I imagine now is the MOCing time of the year for people
who buy Lego year-round, with none of the main sets releasing until June, and
as someone else posted about, there are Lego conventions aplenty.
Of course, people needing the pieces sooner than the long time I am willing to
wait (Brickfair VA is in August...) probably buy the quantity pieces for whatever
the price, idk.
Just my two cents

What do you guys think about the set and the GWP? As a Massive LOTR fan, I am
VERY excited!

My wallet is saying “meh, it’s not as good as Rivendell.”

My LEGO room is saying… well, I don’t know exactly, something like “mmmhhffhhmmfff!”,
its voice is muffled, like it’s coming from behind a lot of plastic….

Also, it’s Barad-Dûr

Well, thanks to your message, I know how to put that accent on letters

  Buonasera,
sto finendo di montare il mio vecchio castello set 6074.
Nell elenco presente su brick per le parti c'è questa sezione " Articoli
Aggiuntivi "
queste parti erano presenti all'interno della scatola in origine????

Grazie
Simone

Queste sono solo le parti che Lego fornisce per il set-extra
Those are just the extra parts Lego provides for the set (Lol definitely not
Italian but hope Google translate is good enough)

Is there way way to see who?

Not if you are a seller yourself - if you're only a buyer then you can see
(apparently).

As only a buyer, I was surprised by this. I've never purchased anything form
these two stores and every feedback I have ever given has been professional and
positive (from what I remember).

Also, the exact same text from 2 stores - really?

Meh, i aint losing sleep over it - others will get my money

that is YOUR stoplist...

"set" or "parts"?

I've seen a few stores that do this, the ones I can remember listed them
under "Custom Item", but put them on their store's main page.

Is there a way to search for multiple parts from one seller without searching
in each seller’s inventory individually? Thank you.

Just create a "wanted list" by hitting the heart button on all the parts
you want and then click "Auto-buy", and the algorithm will find a store
that has the parts you want.

"Heart button" I've been around kids too much...the favorite button

Contest is another package arrival estimation.

The package this time is traveling USPS Ground Advantage from Washington to New
York. Mailed this morning with a 6:45 PST acceptance scan.

Contest Parameters:

~ Two entries per member, per 24 hour period

~ No limit to the overall number of entries per member

~ Both date and time are required

~ All entries must be posted as a reply here, for transparency

~ With identical entries, the first takes precedence.

~ Closest to USPS declared delivered time and date, wins

I'll announce the package's periodic travel updates to keep it interesting.
Will also post the "Delivered" notification screenshot, for all to determine
the winner.

Aren't you not allowed to advertise sales more than once a month?

He’s “bump”ing the sale but yes technically in this case. In Others where
they actually provide new info on the sale or if it’s ending soon is aloud (I
think)

Oh forgive me 'bump'ing sales are quite important new pieces of info

I ordered something from Wisconson recently, it got sent to Michigan, Washington,
and then West VA before it finally came here...however, Washington to here was
3 days if I remember correctly (although the package itself took almost two weeks,
what is the world coming to :/) I will say May 3rd at 5:04 EST...or May 4th at
2:59 EST...
