Consider it a badge of honor. I used to have 3 but I'm now down to 2 so
somebody must have changed their mind. But your comment here https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1460105
only focuses on part of it. There are people perusing the forum that might
stop list you just because of something you said. This is where mine came from
as I was asking questions to make sure I set my store up correctly.

That might have something to do with it 🤔

As a member with seller status, no is the short answer. "Is there way way
to see" why you care who acts in this childish manner?

If it helps you to cope, here's ours

It's not really a problem, I was just curious 😁

I had figure SW0121 removed from my listings. The reason given was "Reason:
Item is incorrectly defined as New/Used or Complete/Incomplete/Sealed". But
I had the figure marked as "used" and mentioned the parts that were missing
on the figure. I realize you can't sell incomplete figures but this figure
is not inventoried so there is no way to sell individual pieces from this figure.
There are also numerous amounts of this figure listed on Bricklink with missing
parts, broken parts, or with colored parts swapped out for different colors.
So why would mine be removed if there is no way to list it on Bricklink besides
custom. Especially when all these other figures are allowed to stay.

Listing are deleted when reported by other users.

And the rules are very clear: minifigures can only be sold if they are complete
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=102

If there are other listings that list incomplete minifigure feel free to report
them.

Whenever I try and modify a wanted list I'm getting the attached error.

I tried to part out a new set and change the quantities on a brand new wanted
list and still same thing. I am also unable to apply an order to a wanted list.
Nothing happens.

Anyone seeing something similar?

Bricklink has been merging parts over the last few weeks/months and it means
that you now have 1 or more duplicate parts on 1 or more of your wanted lists.

I haven't had to order anything online from TLG in a month or two and
placed an order for multiple copies of a set late Monday night. Much to my surprise
they arrived today. But the bigger surprise was that they shipped the GWP's
in separate boxes. Is this a fluke or did they listen to our complaints about
smaller sets getting crushed? Seems like the orders from early February were
all packed in to one box.

I have had several GWP ship separately but it mainly depends on the set you order.
Bigger sets tend to be stored in their own shipping box in the warehouse.

  Can anyone help?

After 6 months of not getting my money back for a refused international package.
(shipping was 50% higher than quoted, so I sent the package back)

Why did you pay once you saw the shipping was higher than quoted?

The seller (Oasis in South Carolina) refused to refund my money until the package
came back to him. There is no detailed tracking on return packages, but it shows
that it came into the USA on October 28th.

He told me that it could take 6 months for it to come back. Since it is almost
6 months, I want to check back with him.

He told you 6 months because that is the cutoff point for PayPal to file a
dispute!

All of my prior orders are gone and so are my old messages.

Orders & messages are purged after 6 months

I was able to download the order (without much details, but it had the prices).

Is there a way to get back my messages? Or order? I did not delete these things.

Try contacting the Admins, they need to keep order details etc longer than
6 months for legal purposes

thanks!

HI there I'm thinking selling on this website. I wanted to ask a few questions
about it however.

#1 I have "Complete" sets, but there're original bricks are scattered
in my LEGO box. is it right/uncouth to sell something as "complete" if
I put the sets back together again from my vast lego box?

Yes you can list this as "Used, Complete" if the instructions are
missing you must state this in the description

#2 Is a mini figure still "new" if it has been gently taken care of in
a box of other minis, and never been played with and still shinny and unscratched?

Must be listed as "Used"

any help is appreciated! I would just like to know the "Dos and don'ts"
of selling LEGO's

Cheers Cy Kill's Garage!

here is the help page on the "item for sale Condition"

A buyer demanded a full refund for a supposedly slightly damaged box, and cited
laws to try and threaten me. I declined over the audacity of a full refund. I
asked for pictures, and they did not provide pictures. They left an email without
any attachments claiming they were on the email. They said I was being difficult
and ceased all communication. How should I respond?

Tell them to return the set if they want a full refund. If they refuse offer
them a partial refund (depending on the price) or wait for them to start a NSS/paypal
claim. After that I would block that buyer so he cant buy from you anymore.

Also they are a retailer close to me and probably see me as competition. They
buy things from brick link and charge 50%+ in store. They were quite concerned
about me finding out about that part it felt. Does that impact anything?

As it is a free market they can charge how much they want, it does not impact
anything.

Doesn't tracking always come with standard insurance up to a certain amount?
its when the value of the package exceeds the standard insurance that you pay
for extra insurance.

Yes but it isn't much. £20 for tracked parcels and £50 for signed for. And
it doesn't necessarily cover things like the condition of the box of an expensive
set if it is damaged.

yeah but OP asked for tracking without insurance which I believe is impossible
because tracked always comes with basic insurance (but yes that basic insurance
doesn't cover a big amount)

Not here. You can get basic tracking that has no proper insurance. Royal Mail
will refund up to a small amount for loss or serious damage but it isn't
actually insurance, it is compensation for failure in service.

  Hi
I'm planning to move to Spain from Canada in the next few years. And I'm
looking for information on how to run my store from Spain. What is the revenue
amount for which I would be in the obligation to register my store with authorities
? How would it work to register my store as a company ? How does it work with
VAT ?

Thanks in advance for all the information you could give me.

When moving to a different country be aware that you'll need to keep everything
you bring into the new country for at least a year otherwise you'll have
to pay a bunch of extra taxes & fees.

Other than that you will have to register for VAT if you think you will earn
more than 10.000 Euro (not 100% sure on the number) in 12 consecutive months.

Great, thanks for the info ! By the time I move, get a place to live, get my
stuff from Canada (by boat of course so it will take months), it will take at
least a year or two before I will be able to reopen my store.

Thanks for the info about the threshold amount as well. I'll try looking
on Internet to confirm it but so far I haven't found anything.

Yeah I moved from Ireland to Canada last year

How has the first year been?

Its been great so far, met a bunch of new people, saw a bunch of animals that
I only saw in a zoo before (and some that I've never seen in real life before)
and its so easy to go to a national park and leave the city behind for a few
hours.

welcome to Canada! is it as nice as you hoped?

Oh yeah we love it here . Its so easy to see wildlife everywhere, lots of national
parks that are easy accessible. Also I'm earning more than I did in Belgium
and have to pay less taxes here

There are some downsides though, you need a car to do basically anything, almost
all stores/ restaurants are chains and groceries are pretty expensive.

There are a few things we didn't expect:
- The amount of wildfires that happen
- the size of the country (My home country Belgium literally fits between Edmonton
& Calgary)
- Seeing a Tornado in Alberta

Yeah I moved from Ireland to Canada last year and I still haven't reopened
my store either.

I highly recommend to get a moving company that does international moves, they'll
handle everything, there is a lot of paperwork involved. I think the container
took about six weeks to arrive if I remember correctly (Moved from Ireland to
Canada Last year)

When you have settled and ready to reopen your store I would suggest to find
an accountant that can help you set everything up tax wise.

If you are this impatient to sell your stuff than maybe bricklink is not the
place for you.

Depending on what you have set/parts things can take a long time to sell especially
if you only have a small inventory.
