I noticed all of the extra pieces for 31018 weren't on the Bricklink page, so I added them. Had a brand-new copy of the set, set aside all pieces in the inventory in the back of the instruction book, and these are the remaining pieces. Hope this helps!

I have suggested this before, but I got no answers or got ignored.

My splash page is in HTML, and I use the HTML comment tag to
1) easy overview in code
2) my vacation messages is currently commented out, but still visible as BL does
not accept this tag.

(which is the same as for 1662)

The figs are pictured both ways on the front page.

But I claim the figs in what you call "main model" are also the wrong figs for
this set when going after what is printed on the bucket

Thanks for the image.

I suppose this may be why this set never ended up with any figs. Officially,
of course, the instructions are supposed to take precedence, but with these universal
sets the instructions don't have the same prescriptive role as they do in
the typical "model" set. Let me think on this one a bit.

Does anyone have access to the box part lists for set 540 and 547?

search own inventory for set parts

I don't know if this is already possible and I just haven't found out
how to do it, if so please let me know.

I suggest to make it possible to see if I have all the parts of a set in my own
inventory or which parts I still need and a way to remove the parts I have from
my inventory with one click.

When I enter a set number into the field "parts from set" and choose "whole minifig"
or "minifig parts" I get a list with all items and their current amount, but
to check if the set is complete I have to switch between two tabs with a) the
set inventory and b) my own parts and compare both. This takes a lot of time
especially with larger sets.

So what I am thinking of is a list that shows me the whole set inventory and
next to it my own quantity of each part. It would be great to have the following
options:
- add the parts I still need to my wanted list
- remove the required amount of parts I have from my inventory or
- move them into the stockroom.

I have just bought one of these games, and the instructions clearly show that the 2x3 plates are included, 1 for each minifig, for use as a 'stand', hence this request.
There are other elements that will need to be included, as they are the Board, Castle, 2 Dice and 3 rubber bands

As this game was releaed in 2006, I'm thinking the plates should be Light
Bluish Gray instead of Gray.

Recent changes

Three new colors have been added to the BrickLink catalog:
161 Dark Yellow = LEGO 180 Curry
162 Glitter Trans-Light Blue = LEGO 302 PC Transparent Light Blue with Glitter
163 Glitter Trans-Neon Green) = LEGO 339 Transparent Fluorescent Green with Glitter

After the introduction of Dark Yellow a few catalog inventories have been updated.
The origin of the Dark Yellow parts 3437 (2x2 Duplo brick) and 3011 (2x4 Duplo
brick) are still unknown. Those are probably still listed as Yellow, Earth Orange
or Bright Light Orange is some 2004-2005 set inventory.

Also, many of Clikits inventories have been corrected, so there is less confusion
about their colors:
- Clikits Pink parts have been moved to Bright Pink.
- Clikits Light Yellow parts have been moved to Bright Light Yellow.
- Clikits Trans-Neon Yellow parts have been moved to Trans-Neon Yellow. The Transparent
Fire Yellow parts have remained grouped with Trans-Yellow.
- Clikits Light Orange parts have been moved to Bright Light Orange.
- Clikits Light Turquoise parts have been moved to Sky Blue.
- Clikits Light Blue parts have been moved to Bright Light Blue, Sky Blue or
Medium Blue.
- Clikits Medium Orange parts have been moved to Trans-Neon Orange.

The Clikits icons should be correct now except Medium Orange in set 7508-1, I
still have tpo find time to look at the changes needed for that set. More work
might be required for the Clikits containers, flexy film, special effect paper,
hairbands etc.

The trunks of the Granulated trees are also a unique color of brown. No name

At least Neon Orange and Neon Green would cause catalog conflicts if the watches
are inventoried (that is why I have not done so for the watch I own). All possibly
related colours that could be used to group the colors together are also used
for watch links.

BRICKLINK COLORS THAT ARE CONFUSING OR SPLIT UP LEGO COLORS
The silver, gold and copper colored parts cause most problems, because they can
have a completely different appearance depending on material used (ABS, polypropylene,
rubber) and part shape. In the years before any official color information was
available, we invented different color names for parts that actually were made
in a single color.

Metallic Bright Blue

= 185 Metallic Bright Blue (for part 54005pb01 and the hubs of 54007c02)

= 23 Bright Blue

LEGO 185 Metallic Bright Blue is split up between Blue (for parts that do not
look pearly because of the plastic used) and 78 Metal Blue (for parts that do
look pearly).

LEGO 188 Tiny Blue is split up between Medium Blue and Light Blue, depending
on which set it occurred in and how the person doing the inventory solved the
problem of how to classify a new unknown color.

Speckle colors are covered in a speckled coating. The speckles are not part of
the plastic itself.

LEGO 304 is split up depending on the color of the base-part it is applied to.
It does not cause any catalog problems, but it might need a “color note” to explain
the relation with the official LEGO color names for future reference.

Silver, Gold and Copper colors
Silver, Gold and Copper colors are made in a few different ways:
- As a color of the plastic itself
- as a shiny surface finish, called “chrome” on BrickLink.
- as a matte surface finish, called “metallic” on BrickLink.
- Painted, sprayed or brushed onto the part as a surface decoration. (In those
cases LEGO will usually specify the color of the part underneath the decoration,
with a description of the decoration in the part name). These are usually called
“metallic”, but I think I have seen a few inconsistencies (I did not check yet).

The naming conventions LEGO used for these colors are as confusing as the way
BrickLink dealt with differences in appearance caused by the use of different
materials. Initially LEGO only assigned a name to the color of the plastic itself.
Until somewhere around 2006 (?) all surface coatings were seen as decorations
only. Then a few color names were introduced that describe the appearance of
the brick. Since somewhere around 2009-2012 (?) those names have been replaced
by “ink colors” with labels (No 1000, No 1100) in the part name to describe the
surface finish.

So what is what?..

Gold colors
Surprisingly not much confusion here.

Chrome Colors
21 Chrome Gold
= until approximately 2010: surface decoration (no number assigned);
= later: 310 Metalized Gold
= present: 335 Gold Ink (probably with “No 1100” in the official LEGO part name)
(I am not sure about the exact dates for the changes in the LEGO naming conventions

packs from 2002. Because these packs with random parts are not inventoried, no
BrickLink color is known for these parts. They are currently sold as Metallic
Silver, flat silver, pearl light gray, pearl dark gray)

Parts in softer plastics that didn't show the pearl-ness much used to be
considered Flat Silver on BL (even though they LEGO considered them to be the
same color as Pearl Light Gray). "Flat Silver" is now used mostly for 315 Silver
Metallic but this is not always used consistently and sets are still inventoried
with Pearl Light Grey.

Metallic Colors

This color is a bit of a mess on BrickLink. Because BrickLink does not have a
“Metallic Copper” the Copper color is used both for the actual plastic (139,
176, 178, 189) and the Copper coated parts (300, 334). The copper surface coatings
have a similar history as the silver and gold colors.

This inventory was submitted originally from "Instructions". My set only has the jumpers with grooves, and the jumpers with grooves were added as alternates after the set was inventoried. Therefore, I think this set should only list the jumpers with grooves unless someone finds a set later that has the old ones to add back as alternates.

My copies also included jumpers with grooves.

I was seriously hoping the 3003old addition to the catalog would soon be reverted
since this part is also released in 2014 sets! The part 'old' in '3003old'
sounds pretty weird in relation to parts in a 2014 set!

Can any catalog administrator elaborate on the addition of the 3003old? And is
it there to stay?
