| I am a dedicated fan of LEGO and have been building with LEGO since the late 60's/early 70's. My favorite theme would have to be "Classic Space" (I am sure this is true with most true LEGO maniacs!) but I was willing to turn to "Model Team" as a backup. Unfortuneately both of these are no more and I have had to re-align my LEGO affinity. I now focus my attention to the "UCS" sets and the "Technic" sets as they appeal to my fondness of larger models and increased difficulty. Although I do NOT publish my creations online, I have been working on a scale model of a popular structure in the U.S. and when I complete it, it should tower to approximately 23'. This has been a project of mine for over 10 years now and is still growing. My personal collection, at last count, is over 2,000,000 pieces and includes over 3,000 sets over the last 30+ years and it is still not enough! Some of my most prized items are original sets that were only distributed at LEGOland Denmark that I have had since the early 90's.
Needless to say. When I build, I build big!
Some of my past creations:
~ A full size playhouse for my boys to play in. (Yes, they could stand inside)
~ A fully functional rotary motor that runs on compressed air
~ Walled the entire inside of my house out of LEGO
~ Designed and made curtains for my living room (Yes, they are made of LEGO)
