| | I've owned and collected Lego since about 1979. The first set I really remember was a present from my Grandmother after enduring a spell in hospital - it was 918 from the Classic Space era. I had several other Space sets but also quite a few of the Town series, I remember the Fire Station and a couple of the classic battery operated trains, with the old blue rails.
I still have a large amount, about a dustbin full. Now I have the delight of passing on my enthusiasm with my daughters who like the old classic Lego but also have lots of the Friends and Disney related sets because of their age group!
I've got a few of the mid range Star Wars sets. I'm thinking of expanding and getting a couple of the large models though, the Sandcrawler in particular. ;)
