About Me Pages: About JtGorski00 (48)
While being a relatively young professional at a little over 6 years in the industry, I am a Registered Architect in the states of Wisconsin and Florida.  I hold three degrees including a M.Arch. from UW-Milwaukee, 2016.  Supplementing my master’s degree, I hold graduate certificates in Preservation Studies and Ecological Design.  I am also NCARB Certified, a member of AIA, and a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Currently I work for a mid-sized architecture firm working on a variety of regional projects across Wisconsin and the Midwest.  I have over four years of cross-discipline experience at a multi-national specialty engineering firm producing RFP Drawings and assisting project engineers, PE's, and SE's.  Those engineering projects included very high-end structural glass walls, glass fin structures, expressive structurally complex skylights, and exotic canopies for many well known architectural clients—all utilizing either point supported, edge clamped, cable supported, or captured glazing systems.  Those projects I was involved in ranged from places across the entire continental US, the Cayman Islands, Qatar, and plenty in Canada.  Fresh out of college, I worked for a mid-sized architecture firm in Wisconsin that specialized in medical office buildings, dialysis facilities, schools, and mixed-use commercial structures. I am very interested in old buildings and ecological stewardship, specifically pertaining to grain elevators.  As such, I selected a large grain elevator complex for my graduate thesis project and rehabilitated it into a Greek Orthodox monastery.  My free time consists of photographing the Wisconsin countryside in my 94’ Jeep Wrangler-YJ or working on projects in the garage.
