About Me

Hiya. My name's Laura and I'm a Lego enthusiast from the UK. Lego was always a part of my childhood, from building robots at home with my sisters to diving into the iconic red tub of bricks that my grandma kept for when we stayed with her. There was a real sense of joy and awe that such tiny bricks could create such wonderful things. This fascination carried on into the 90s as I discovered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman The Animated Series, two series that greatly influenced my taste in media and later converged with that early love of Lego. Unsurprisingly, my collection includes TMNT and Batman as well as early Avengers sets, Star Wars, The Mandalorian and more.

Gotham City Breakout

The combination of my love for Lego and my love for Batman led to the eventual discovery of Gotham City Breakout. This 2016 movie, fully titled Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Gotham City Breakout is just about the most hilarious thing on the planet. I cannot quantify my love for it. It's ridiculous and yet brilliant. I'm sure there's a billion people who would disagree with me but that's fine. I have enough love for it for everyone. As such, it has become my personal mission to recreate as much of the film as possible in physical Lego format. This mission is hampered largely by the fact that many of the pieces don't exist but still I persevere. Expect to see a wealth of Gotham Ciy Breakout designs in my Studio Gallery soon.
