Set No: 680 Name: Low-Loader and Crane

680-1 (Inv) Low-Loader and Crane
46 Parts, 1971
Sets: LEGOLAND: Construction

* Delete 1 Part bb0067 Yellow String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Metal Handle (Red Drum)
* Add 1 Part bb0067a Yellow String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Metal Handle (Black Drum)

Comments from Submitter:
In my original set from the 1970s the drum is black as in set Mobile Crane Item No: 643-2

This set was only produced in 1971 and the change from black to red drum took
place after that (around 1973). So both you request will be approved.

Thanks,
Diana

I have a buyer who asked to remove 22x of one item from an order which amounts
to ~$104.48 and they have a 9.25% state sales tax ($114.14). on the refund page,
if I just put in the $104.48, I get the attached image, which I interpret as
the buyer being shorted.

And I know, I know; RTFM, but the manual doesn't clearly state what happens
on partial refunds. https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2467

How do you appeal. A customer stated I did nothing to help and left me Neutral
Feedback, when that's simply not true. I have emails, screenshots, and tracking
info to show I took care of it all an hour after the request. Killed my perfect
100 percent. It's not right.

If Bricklink would not count a Neutral feedback as a negative then there would
be no problem at all. I don't understand why Bricklink still does it that
way. Especially when you have seen all these years what an emotional impact neutral
feedback has on a seller.

Try going to the order and checking the name of the shipping option used then
go to that shipping option and check the price for its weight and if it’s to
low then you can change it

The "I emailed sender but no response" feedback being left when that
isn't what happened is an underhanded tactic increasingly used both here
on Bricklink and on other platforms. It is an attempt by buyers to protect themselves
from being stoplisted by other sellers as being difficult or petty. They want
to ding your feedback score but make it look like they tried to resolve the "problem"
but you disappeared.

I had never seen this tactic being used but it is pretty easy to make it work
against them.

Interesting, how so?

Whenever that actually happened to you, contact me and i would share with you
how i would handle it myself 😀

Your feedback is removed anyway. Was it done by the customer?

The neutral is still there, from October 1, 2023. I got one on eBay which was
removed an hour after i emailed them as all the messages were there.

Hello all.

I feel quite hesitant to make this simple help request. I've spent a week,
on and off, searching far and wide for a solution to this simple question: how
can I inline my own custom photos to my extended listing's description, as
you can see if this listing:

https://store.bricklink.com/WesselE?itemID=371984286

I searched BrickLink, Google, and other forums but came up empty handed. I'm
a 40 year software developer and hence I don't give up easily to solve my
own problems but I've reallly run out of rope. My feeling was that I could
only provide potential buyer's with an external URL of images to view when
I communicate with them directly (which I've done with 21 images + 2 videos
posted to my Google Drive == an okay solution). However, after I ran across that
posting above, I was wondering where and how I could upload custom images and
add a URL to the HTML extended text. I could only find info to add custom images
to my landing page.

This forum posting of mine also assumes that BrickLink does not allow me to add
URLs to external websites in my listings.

Thank you for any info or insight that you may be able to provide.
