After not ordering anything from outside the US, more due to the complications
of Tariffs than the cost of tariffs, I decided to try it out a few months ago.
All went well and the order was shipped via FedEx and arrived with no complications.
Then yesterday I got an email and a voicemail, from FedEx saying I owed a tariff.
It was really easy to pay online using paypal. They even had a photo of the
package being delivered so I could verify it was not a scam, but really a tariff
I owed.
So now my only concern, related to tariffs, and buying outside the US, is that
they are not stable and the tariff rate on the day I order might be significantly
lower than the day the order enters the US.

Glad to hear it worked for you! There is also the option to order from some stores
in Canada who can ship tariff free under CUSMA

Hi,

Customs duties have been stable since summer 2025, with a rate of 15% for LEGO
in EU countries.

The tariff rate is everytime of the day when it arrived in the USA

Hope I could help

Why did you have to pay customs duty again? Wasn't it a Bricklink purchase?

For US buyers, BrickLink doesn’t collect duties or tariffs (a federal matter
for the USA).  BrickLink only collect Sales Taxes (a local (state, city…) matter).

And for the other countries, BL collects consumption taxes (import VAT, GST…),
not duties.
