Howdy,

I had an account previously with bricklink that suddenly got unregistered/banned
a week or two ago. There was some issues with fee avoidance and I didn't
follow the rules as strictly as I should have. Looking over the terms now I totally
understand that taking payments other than paypal/stripe is no bueno and that
you shouldn't have someone pay you directly to add items on to an order (instead
they should get another invoice and pay for the items on bricklink). But the
bricklink helpdesk hasn't accepted any of my requests for appeal, so I made
a new account with full intention to learn from my previous mistakes. I complied
with all the setup for new seller verification and they denied me. They said
it was because of issues with my previous account but I didn't see anywhere
in the terms of service that indicated they would deny you for that. This account
hasn't broken any rules and I intend to keep it that way. I'm just trying
to do this right and haven't been given a chance to fix it. Communication
from helpdesk has been minimal and I don't really see any path forward. Asking
for any ideas, potentially for the help of an admin to get my appeal approved/new
seller verification accepted, or just generally sharing my struggle to continue
selling. It seems normally during the new seller verification period you have
the option to message back and forth with an admin but once they deny you you
can't reappeal or use that message functionality.

I spent a lot of money and sold a lot on bricklink last year and if I can't
continue selling I will probably have to stop using bricklink (not good for my
wallet hahaha). Hoping I can continue being a part from the community and use
what I learned but if I can't I understand. Some of the most frustrating
part is leaving the 20 or so customers I had with active orders hanging as
I have no way to contact them or finish their orders on my old account since
it isn't active anymore. I lost all the inventory I had tracked and all my
wanted lists so organizationally I was already having to start completely over
which feels like a pretty big punishment as is but now without help it seems
like I can never sell again. Just trying to do the best with what I got. Any
and all help appreciated

Thanks,
Xander

Just because you've been banned from selling shouldn't stop you accessing
your account and completing orders. Especially if you've been paid, you should
complete the sales or at the very least refund the orders. You should have all
the details in your emails.

Yeah I have all the info in my emails and contacted all of them that way as soon
as I found out my account was having issues. They've all been very understanding.
I was hoping to get all this account stuff resolved first but since it doesn't
seem it will be reactivated my plan is to ship their orders this weekend. I can't
login to my old account at all. They unregistered it. It just fails. Since I
can't login I can't even see old customer orders, my old order/in progress
orders, or buy anything new. This new account doesn't have seller verification
but at least I have the option to buy stuff again.

An order can be lost in transit and anyway will take N days or weeks to arrive,
and quantity or quality may be contested.

I would be you I would't reship; I'd refund, like from PayPal or Stripe.

This way you can immediately show a proof of refund.

You have the e-mails, and payments in PayPal/Stripe. This you can fix. And have
communication with the corresponding buyers.

It may also fix your karma regarding buyers

TOS are in between YOU as a person (or a person representing a company) and BrickLink
/ LEGO.

Creating a new account doesn't change the fact you've (or have had) a
problem with the previous account.

I hope you'll find an Admin who can allow you a second chance.

That makes sense. It didn't seem to say that anywhere in the terms so it
was just really discouraging to have my new seller verification denied after
I already accepted the work it was gonna take to relist thousands of figs and
parts. I had hundreds of successful orders and 99% positive feedback. I hope
an admin gives me a chance too. I am not sure what the difference is between
admin that read posts and those that handle helpdesk stuff but yeah, hoping I
can get another chance even if I face some consequences (thought that was already
what was happening but no paths to continue selling have been seen so far).

Its possible but unlikely, most admins who are active on the forums are only
catalog and inventory admins, who have no power for anything related to user
accounts or similar
