Hi there!

I have used bricklink for years to inventory sets, and usually it comes down
to one part that costs an arm and a leg! At that point, I give up and just part
it out. What if alongside the "Set Inventory" we add an extra tab for
"Exclusive Parts"? Just a random thought I had! Personally I think it'd
be a useful addition to the site!

Thanks for reading

What's the definition of exclusive? Is it part, part it a specific color?
Most parts with stickers are exclusive. Printed parts?

likely parts that in the color/mold combo have not apeared in any other sets.
Stickered parts are counterparts so would probably not be included in such a
filter

At what point is it considered exclusive? New parts are rare and expensive and
may only appear in one set for a while and then are widely used. Older parts
that aren't made anymore would fall into this but, who decides which ones
are to be added and when and then does the work to all the inventories? It is
a good thought, but execution would be tricky and imprecise.

For each part

Does this part (element ID and color) exist in another inventory?

If not, it's "exclusive"

Probably best to exclude counterparts from this though.
