Can someone in Bricklink make give part 3484 a separate page? Now it's classified
as 48729b even though it's a clearly different. 3484 is much better part
because it has much stronger grip.

The photo I posted is not mine, found it on google and it explains everything
- they ARE different.

When the new mold 3484 was introduced back in 2023 we decided that it doesn't
need a separate entry because the overall shape and function were not changed.

In addition to that, this bar with clip is a very common and cheap part with
more than 1 million items listed for sale right now. It seems very unlikely that
many sellers would be willing to keep them separate.
Therefore the entry will remain as is, unless you know of any regular set(s)
that require the new or old version (if so please let us know).

If I want *only* 3484 for aesthetic reasons, how am I supposed to order them?

The same way you order heads with blocked open / hollow / vented studs.
The same way you order locking hinges with 7 / 9 teeth.
The same way….

Ask to sellers which version they have?

Which takes 3 minutes maybe, for a 5 cents part.
On which they make say a 2.5 cents profit (ignoring fees and fixed expenses).

So, if they're paid less or equal to 0.50 per hour in their country, they
may help you.

If not - like almost eveywhere apart in India or Bengladesh - then they may not
even reply to your message/e-mail (it's not paid either).

Problem here is the price of tiny parts and the time required to fulfill this
kind of expectations

It's super complicated.

I can't check versions, as even if I search for specific versions and buy
1000, I should have to verify each of them at arrival one by one, because I can't
be sure they're not mixed. So I don't. It's impossible.

You can message sellers (preferable those who are parting out recent sets in
large quantities) and ask them if they would be willing to check their stock
and send you the new variant when you order the part. Or you could order them
from Pick a Brick.
