Hi, I placed my first order on January 5th but after more than a week the seller,
who has high feedback, still hasn’t shipped it. I’ve also contacted him but haven’t
received any response. I’m just wondering if this is normal and what the usual
waiting times for orders here.
thanks

If you paid on the 5th of January, then this seems like more than enough time
for your seller to ship, or at least communicate with you.

What does the seller say in their terms for shipping times? Each store is different

it says 2-3 day for shipping
Seems like they are taking a bit long then normal. Usually shipping times like
that refer to business days, and since it was just the weekend, the that could
explain 5 of the 7 days. I would reach out to the seller and ask

I emailed him about 30 hours ago and haven’t received a reply yet, so in the
meantime I posted here to understand how it usually goes

I’d give it a couple days and reach out once more, and if they still don’t respond,
file an NRS on the order, and that should get their attention. Hopefully tho
it dosent escalate to that

You mean NSS (NRSs are for unpaid, uninvoiced orders)

NRS is for non responding seller, no?
It's for a seller who doesn't respond to a sale with an invoice.

If payment was not sent and the seller is not responding to the buyer, the
buyer may file a Non-Responding Seller (NRS) alert.
In short, I disagree with perginator this time, sorry.
And if the payment was sent, then it's NSS.
Lol. I think the originator/Buyer made payment otherwise his post is somewhat
mentally dysfunctional. Because the Seller has not shipped because he has not
paid in which event he cant technically be an NRS or NSS ......for no other reason
than he hasn't sold anything.
Time for a transnational lego war. I vote for Perginator.

Yes, regarding OP, it's NSS.
I was replying to this: "It's for a seller who doesn't respond to

And said it wasn't the case. You can send an NRS before payment for any justified
reason.

Err on the side of caution. We are only a few days past the holiday break and
he may be on extended holidays.
You can wait a couple of days and submit an NSS. I would give him/her 10-14 days.
You can always withdraw the NSS too.
Contact him again today, contact him again tomorrow and tell the seller straight
"if I don't receive confirmation of shipping with 24 hours I intend filing
an NSS"
