I was messaged by Scuba Steve saying they can’t sign in (they were getting error
504 but now that isn’t even showing) and they couldn’t sign in, so I tried on
a different browser and can’t sign in either.

I've just managed to randomly sign in.
Loaded up every order page I need while I can.

I had to first refresh the page on BL (control + f5 in Chrome), then sign in.

Same, when I try to sign in , it accepts the password and I even receive an email
confirmation that someone has logged in to my account (that is, I'e sign
in ), but I do not get access to the account, I go back to the login page, and
so on, again, again
Only when I try to enter the chat does it let me into my account.

I just did some testing and think I found a path that will be successful for
most people.
On three different computers: I was able to login the 1st time I tried, IF
I was in the Discussion Forums.

Why would anyone log to BrickLink apart going to Forum???

I opened a ticket for this since I was forcefully logged out and could not log
back in to respond here. After an hour or so the login worked again just fine
without any workaround.

I got kicked out again with some redirect errors. The site was switching rapidly
between bricklink and bricklink v2 before it failed. Same behavior on multiple
devices. I've deleted cookies on Firefox and got back in on my main computer
at least. Sigh.

Similar on my end, on desktop it times out but on mobile it keeps switching the
url

Same behavior here. I can get back in on all devices by clearing cookies, but
it only lasts for about 30 minutes—ridiculous. I don’t even think it was this
bad in the days right after the merge.

Same here. Just had to delete my Bricklink cookies again for the second time
this morning.
Is Bricklink aware of this massive problems? I have to delete cookies every 30-60min
to be able to login. My customers ask to contact my by mail/whatsapp what is
going on on Bricklink.
This is truly a tragedy, how silent such a big company can be, when they are
facing technical problems preventing THEIR CUSTOMERS to be able to use their
platform and genereate business...
No word on X as well from Bricklink. I contacted already helpdesk yesterday:
guess what: no reply so far
That start to make me really angry meanwhile: not the fact, that the problem
exists, but the fact, that there is no statement from Bricklink like: "hey
we are working on it" or something like that!
Yes, the web team is on it since the problems started on Wednesday.
Communication is even worse than usual because of the holydays….
Did you see an official message from them?
Not public, no. I got the info when I reported the problems to Anastasia and
the Studio devs, first on Wednesday and then again last night.
Yikes. Nothing like having the site down/broken on the biggest shopping day of
the year here in the US. (I don't know that BrickLink has traditionally had
an uptick in sales today, but the idea that Christmas shopping starts now is
very prevalent here.)
What I really don't understand is why the reticence to publicly acknowledge
site-wide issues? It gives the impression that they don't care or don't
know what they are doing. How hard is it to make it standard procedure for one
admin to say here: "Hey! We see there's a problem and we are on it."
Then, the rest of us could spread the word that something is at least being done.

Agreed. It always takes so long for them to post something. Surely, someone
can post even when Community Engagement is on vacation, or during the night or
whatever.
* System failure notification
* Scope outline / Impact / Criticality level
* Remediation Policies (assets / manpower deployed including commentary on non-standard
deployment i.e. working around the clock)
* Estimated time to resolution
* Timely Remediation updates (hourly would be ideal)
While we might get none of this now - a move in that direction would be appreciated.
I was honestly somewhat afraid to post this, but I truly think it is reasonable.
The fact that I feel afraid to post my thoughts in itself is a problem.
The holiday should not have an impact on remediation time. Remediation for these
sorts of issues should be part of the plan, not an exception to it. This includes
Holidays.
In no way should this be a reflection of those who work on a volunteer basis,
because those folks approach sainthood.
And frankly it is not an attack on the folks with employee status either, but
rather a plea for greater transparency and some sign that we as Bricklink users
(Stakeholders) are genuinely valued. Because honestly, some of us feel like we
an afterthought if not a burden.

As a (member-)moderator I can tell you that you don’t risk anything if you don’t
do personal attacks or harassment.
Even foul language and excluded topics (politics, religion…) only get your posts
cancelled. You don’t get banned if you aren’t obstinately doubling down.
I’ve criticized BrickLink a few times myself and you aren’t even doing that
here.

It is Thanksgiving in the US, so I expect they re down to a very low number of
people caring about the bricklink side. And if the LEGO login is working then
LEGO might now know about the BL issue.
Thanks to Daniel for the suggestion of logging in thru the discussion forum I
was able to get back to work.

As of right now and since yesterday I'm logged in Forefox, but can't
log in from both Chrome and Edge.
I'm also in through Firefox on computer, and Brave and Opera on my tablet.
Plot thickens.
So I couldn't log in using Chrome, all cookies cleared.
I had the idea to restore the yesterday Chrome default profile from our daily
backup.
Opening Chrome, going to BrickLink... I was already logged in, thanks to the
cookies!
I guess it won't stay, as as soon I'm logged off I won't be able
to log in.
But if you've a backup of your system and can't log in, that could be
a way...
For me it’s been working all morning just fine, last night before bed I couldn’t
use the site as it was glitching again indicating I should clear cookies, but
I didn’t and then this morning I was checked and its fine and it’s been working
ever since
