2.5 months ago I sent a package overseas that came back to me a few days ago.
About a month ago, I completed the order because I did not hear anything. Thinking
everything was all right.
Because I did not know what the problem was, I called the post office. There
was nothing wrong with the package, and they think something went wrong on their
end. After having contact with the post office and the customer, we decided to
cancel the order and give a full refund.
The full refund I just did in the order section, but how can I cancel a completed
order?
This will save me time with putting the items back online.

I don’t know if you can cancel a completed order. In general it is advised to
never mark an order as completed unless you are the buyer. In this case
you “might” see if using the edit order button on the bottom of the orders page,
setting payment status to not paid, and seeing if the order status can change
can help but otherwise there isn’t anything to do.
(Ps, marking orders as complete as the seller in 99/100 cases just annoys buyers,
as a seller you can file an order to make it disappear but many buyers use such
status to keep track of orders, and if sellers change them it will mess things
up and can easily result in unhappy buyers and possibly negative feedback, myself
and many other buyers have least favorited stores and never bought from them
again when the seller changes the status to complete. And yes, we are hoping
bricklink removes the option entirely from the sellers window as per bricklink
hepp pages, you should only mark an order as compete if it has arrived and contents
verified, which is physically impossible for the seller to do, so should never
be done by the seller)
Thank you for the response and the great explanation. I just did complete it
now for a while for myself. Now I learned (the hard way) not to complete it as
a seller.

Cancelling will probably not work.
If you want to put the items back without doing it one by one.
Download, install and setup Brickstore.
Then you can download the order, make adjustments en export to your inventory.
Set the options correct and all will be merged with your inventory, just as if
you could with the cancellation.
