Brickstore can't log into the Lego.com site as it uses a different system.

You will need to load a backup, or use data from e.g. Bricksync.

Thank you!

Is that a forever thing or would you know if Robert "Sandman" is working
on it?

Those were already downloaded in your computer from before the maintenance. So
new ones will not come.

BrickSync still works and has the store inventory as a .bsx file plus each order
downloaded also as separate .bsx files.

There is still not official word from him.

Regarding inventory export from BL to Brickstore. I believe there was a thread
for a workaround using the BL export and then importing that file into Brickstore.

However, I cannot seem to locate it.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction or report the steps.

It's likely simple but so am I.

Sylvain - As always, thank you.

But that seems to be creating a text file and even if I change the extension,
Brickstore is returning the error message below upon import attempt. Anyone having
this issue? Any thoughts on solutions? It may be a simple test edit. I dunno....................

It seems you are trying to open it as a .bsx file. You need to import it as
BrckLink XML file (Ctrl+I Ctrl+X).

Does BrickSync save Placed orders too?

It says: All incoming orders are saved as BrickStore/BrickStock BSX files.

Means received ones. I don't know either about placed.

One can import in BrickStore a placed order. Either through the wanted list soltuion,
super tedious.

I've find one, using:
https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=placed

With Include detail items, then copy the order number, download as XML.

Then you've got to edit, Notepad++, make a macro of this:
* replace the [ORDER] by [INVENTORY] (same for closing ones)
* delete all the order details, leave only the [ITEM]s
* important, replace "," by "" (as qty 1000 would be 1,000 which
isn't accepted)

SAVE this macro!

Run this macro, open this file as a BrickLink XML, that works.
