LEGO.com,” it’s an integration of the BL account system within the LEGO.com account
system (identity.lego.com)… and only for login.
Some account info will stay exclusively on BL (and others on LEGO.com).

No. Anyone can create a LEGO account and set the nickname they want (within
the rules), even if it’s a long-established nickname on BL.
The only way to prevent someone from using your BL username as a LEGO nickname

in.
