Hey LEGO Friends,

Some Bricklink members may have more than one Bricklink account, .e.g. there
are members who may have a seller account and a test account.

Questions:

1. Do Bricklink members who have more than one Bricklink account need to have
a LEGO account for each Bricklink account?

As the nickname will be used at sign in I expect that will be the case.

2. If a new LEGO account is created, will a new Bricklink account also be created
at that time or will it be checked if there already is a Bricklink account with
an identical nickname?

Thank you!

  Hey LEGO Friends,

Hi,

One remark on the subject of your post: it’s not an “integration of BL.com and
LEGO.com,” it’s an integration of the BL account system within the LEGO.com account
system (identity.lego.com)… and only for login.
Some account info will stay exclusively on BL (and others on LEGO.com).

No.  Anyone can create a LEGO account and set the nickname they want (within
the rules), even if it’s a long-established nickname on BL.

The only way to prevent someone from using your BL username as a LEGO nickname
is to do it yourself first.
That’s why they told to do it 3 years ago.

  Thank you!

OK, thank you! That's how I understod it.

According to the following documentation, emails will no longer be used to sign
in.

After the account integration on September 18th, 2025, BrickLink members will
no longer sign in using the email address associated with their BrickLink account.
Instead, you’ll sign in to both LEGO.com and BrickLink.com using your LEGO username.
Your LEGO.com email will also become your primary email address, which is where
you’ll receive notifications after you merge accounts.

Yes, and lower:

What happens if I’m using different emails for my LEGO.com and BrickLink accounts?

Your LEGO.com email will become your primary account email. This will be the
email address you’ll receive notifications at after you merge accounts.

I thought there was something more precise on the emails but I can’t find it
back.

In any case, it’s not clear if the BL account will still have an email field
that can be different from the one on LEGO.com.

As of now this is the Login screen for LEGO account, so seems the email or linked
profile will also be an option to login...?
