Minifigure sw0057 Jedi Knight (Jedi Bob) - Dark Gray Tunic, Brown Hood and Cape:
Inventrory description says (old) brown hood and legs, but the picture seems
to show dark brown hood and legs.
It’s the lighting / colour balance. Dark Brown didn’t exist before 2007¹, about
5 years after that minifigure was produced (2002-2003).

¹ Rylie Howerter says 2008.
fwiw, that's because Bricklink has 7036 as a 2007 set. LEGO lists the launch
date as 2008. By the sounds of it, it was released in December 2007, but it's
probably a 2008 SKU. That kind of thing happens with quite a few of the smaller
BIONICLE sets too, being released in December the year prior in some regions,
although LEGO also lists those with the December dates.

7036 was actually released mid-October 2007 which is a tad too early for me to
class it a 2008 set.

Like you said the inventory shows brown parts and the hood doesn't even exist
in dark brown. I have brightened the image a little and don't think it is
that bad in representing the colors properly. If you would like to provide a
better image, please submit it here:
