Haven’t been keeping up with things BL, is there a known fix or work-around to
the “greyed out tab” problem when attempting the upgrade to seller? The member
is established: 5 years as buyer, albeit low feedback as such.

Got involved with this individual that’s in the process of opening a Lego brick-and-mortar
store/event hall up here in what is prime Seattle retail space, set to open later
this year. Feeling kinda sheepish though… after convincing this AFOL with real
marketing experience and solid backing, to better appreciate and by extension
maintain their BL presence. That upgrading their membership, despite being under
contractual online selling restrictions for a period, is worth doing, or as I
put it "with no downside". Proven wrong I guess, as the process itself
has become somewhat of a "downside" or enough of a hassle not to bother

Gotta believe that such a salient interaction that requires the imparting personal
data and the exchange of trust between member and site, should and can be made
more streamline or intuitive? Notwithstanding today's increased documentation
requirements, that is.

Thanks in advance

They need to upgrade their PayPal account to a business account and it will work
all good.

It’s a “recent” change PayPal made on their end and bricklink has yet to update
it on their end to match so currently if you have just a standard PayPal account,
bricklink thinks it’s all fine during the connection but it won’t actually work
hence the button stays grayed out

Hadn't even considered third-party involvement. Don't know if that's
the issue, but I'll pass on your advise. Hopefully it's that simple.
Thanks.

It should hopefully work, it’s been something that’s been posted in the forums
for a good few weeks now and it always seems to solve it
