I was gonna start a thread about slow sales. And yeah I know there are seasonality
issues and there are always ebbs and flows, and tremendous economic headwinds
among other headwinds.
And then I was gonna post a topic about dealers being our own worst enemies constantly
having sales and deteriorating the sales average on an unsustainable downward
death spiral as a reaction to those headwinds thus contributing another factor
to those headwinds.
And then I thought...... Meh it's rainy and maybe I'm just cranky today.
Well for once it is lovely and sunny in Scotland and has been for the last week
or so. My sales have been good (in my terms) for the last few months including
the best month ever last in April.
Just realising this will not likely make you feel any better, so go have a pizza
and the world will seem right again.

I could justify a pizza for hitting 1 million parts listed today.
Amazing milestone! Indeed! Sounds like a perfect reason!
Just curious: What is NOT a perfect reason to have pizza for you?
Loosing 1 million parts from your store
From any store!
Or any part! See when you're building how it drives you nuts when you're
sure you do have this darn Slope Round but can't locate it (and of course
you don't have any in shop for sale)? Then you give up, order it locally.
Or change the project. Hours later you find it in the kitchen next to the tea
pot You take an appointement with a shrink.

Sounds a verisimilar and relatable experience
Did you find a good and cheap squirrel—I mean shrink?

I called this one. We'll see?
I’ve seen a few documentaries on this one. You’re in good hands—er, paws!
I'm pretty sure between me and my friend we have 98% of all parts types /
colors ever produced in unsorted bulk. But finding them.......

Sales poor here, one small order in two weeks then 6 in 2 days followed by only
one tiny order in approx 1 week.
I’ve also been closed for a few days.
Lovely and sunny here at the south west end of the U.K.

I too have noticed that our orders go way down when we close our store. I have
wondered if BrickLink purposely tries to limit the number of orders we receive
to zero when our store is closed. Conspiracy maybe???

At the end of the day I don't want for much.
Meh......
Yeah, I'm just a wee bit blah today.
grumble grumble
Sure it nice weather around parts of the USA and maybe people are traveling more.
But I have had terrible sales so far for May. Only 5 orders. Yay.
Maybe too many sellers on here??? Too much to pick from???
