Nine years after it's release in only one set, I received my white whale
today:

Minifig No: min029 Name: Villager (Librarian)
*
min029 (Inv) Villager (Librarian)
Minifigures: Minecraft
Found an excellent used one in Hungary.

Apart from a couple of just released Minecraft minifigs my collection of Minecraft
minifigs -- 201 to this date -- is now complete

What is/was your white whale?

You’re asking for the metaphorical "LEGO" white whale of others, but…

Never did have such a white whale, so-to-speak. Never allowed myself to get that
personally invested in such things. Do have my "white whale/s" nonetheless,
that have little to do with the topic of LEGO. Sadly and unlike Captain Ahab’s
character, I’ve not much faith in that metaphor being realized for me at this
point in my life.

Btw, focus in on that modified torso

If you are talking age, I probably have you both beat.

Age? Prefer experience, being old as dirt myself. I am often told that I seem
vibrant and look young for my age, which I eat up Always tried to stay in peak
physical condition and young of heart n’mind. I’ve a young man’s spring in my
step, I'm told. Which I take as just how I feel. Though I’m as strong as
I’ve ever been, I'm decisively less nimble of both mind and body...

Our life experience and age can never wholly be ignored though, regardless of
how we might feel So age, yeah I'm old

they are good figures, but if we had a full avatar line instead, that

Yeah. Definitely need a Sokka and Toph to round out the main group, but a Suki,
Azula and Uncle Iroh would be much welcomed as well.

Alas, the only one I have in my collection is Katara, but that is because she
is the best character in the entire show.

Those would be amazing! I’m hoping that since avatar (at least I think) is getting
more media in the future, combined with the fact every avatar ideas project gets
declined, that it might mean lego is cooking

Always good to have at least 1 figure!

Good choice. Happens to be the ONLY theme that we (my daughter mostly) ever built
and displayed in our home. Actually sad to see that TLG product-line dissipate.

Oddly this one

After hoarding lotr/hobbit figs in 2019 I noticed a few years later that I was
only missing this one to say that I had at least 2 of every figure. I took pride
in finding them all in used lots, but I finally broke down and just bought a
2nd one of this to complete the doubles.
