Gobsmacked at the number of expensive sets that a Hong Kong store is currently
listing ( today ).
They have large quantities of other sets listed in the past.
Their feedback store is in excess of 98% with a score above 1100.
Listed today :
Titanic x 500
Lion Castle x 500
Orient Express x 800
Wish I had that sort of money to invest.
that looks suspicious to me as all those sets are marked as Exclusive on the
Lego website.
The Titanic retails for 850 CAD that is 425.000 CAD, even if he somehow managed
to buy that quantity directly from The Lego Group (not even possible for the
other retailers the sell Lego since they are exclusives) at lets say 50% of the
retail it would still be an investment of over 200.000 CAD.... Only 30 have sold
in the past 6 months worldwide so it would take over 8 years for them to sell
if people want to pay the international shipping.

Seeing some huge 'abnormal' quantities are few months old, someone would
have complained I guess?
Gray market otherwise?
It's more than 1.5M€ listed, agreed with OP, massive stock.
But this description makes it genuine and so VERY real, I understand what the
guy means

A few months back I stumbled across this store and noticed the high number of
sets and expensive minifigures so I decided to put all their sets and minifigs
in my cart to see how many of them sold over time. In my cart I have 52 lots
containing 13,040 sets and minifigs with a cart total of over half a million
USD. Now the cart shows that all items are no longer available. Listed in their
inventory they have relisted several of the same minifigs but all the sets are
different. So if they do sell else where then they are selling a lot of sets.
On their splash page there are pictures of a huge warehouse filled with Lego.
If that truly is their warehouse then I am surprised they are even bothering
selling here considering they only have 1850 sales over the past 13 years here.

Jim
Perhaps they use it more so as advertising to get the attention of new buyers
who then in their packages or such receive business cards linking their main
sites/contact they sell via
The first three and the last three photos are taken from the same spot, only
one shoots left, one shoots right, and the third steps forward about 2 meters
up the aisle and reshoots the same side.
I don't love the fact that the resolution is so bad you can't read the
labels on the shrink wrap but I have no reason to believe the images are fake
per se. The only label I can read is for a 21329 and the ready to ship box appears
to be the correct dimensions.

It's up to you what you think or believe. According to their feedback, lot
of high feedback stores purchased from them during the years.

Titanics are all gone, but after adding everything to my cart, I get this:
Do it!!!
Probably they are a front for companies in China that cant operate on Bricklink
anymore.
It would be relatively easy for a person/persons to operate a store in Hong Kong
based on a consignment type transaction to list and sell various stock after
privately advertising this opportunity in China and avoiding the scrutiny of
Bricklink.

I might be mistaken, but as far back as I can remember, these large qty stores
have always been in hong kong and rarely in mainland china

You are not mistaken, you are correct.
What has changed is "volume" they have a lot more on offer which appears
to some to be "unbelievable".
But I can tell you from personally being inside them, they don't have the
stock numbers they purport. But they can access those stock volumes.

Interesting!
Ask me again in a few months after my May/June lego pilgrimage. I will take some
happy snaps and phone footage. I do have a lengthy buy list for Cantinas, HP
trains to name but a few.
