Hello,

So I finally got my first order, I do manual shipping for now as am still learning.

Customer makes the order, I text him, he's happy, I send him an invoice.

Now, my issue is: How do I know I got paid? I use PayPal, I assumed if the buyer
uses the invoice I sent thru BL that I would get prompted with a confirmaton
of payment (?) and could then ship the package, but nothing has happened yet.

The buyer had ZERO purchases on BL yesterday, now he has 2 positive reviews as
a customer with other stores, yet he hasnt replied to me in PMs since I sent
the invoice.

I could use so pointers and help... It seem my idea of manual shipping invoicing
isn't working out well.

Thank you for reading,

When the buyer pays you will get a notification on your email and on your paypal
account.
Some buyer can take multiple days to pay, this is normal.

You can send a reminder after 3 or 4 days if you like (I send reminders after
3 & 5 days, but 99% pay before that in my experience. Only had 1 buyer who thought
his card got automatically charged but paid immediately when I told him it wasn't)

A NPB (non paying buyer) can only be started after 5? days (not 100% sure, could
be 7 days) so I wouldn't worry to much about it before that time has passed.

A little tip: do not pack/ship orders before the payment is verified.

Just a heads up you have this

“If you DO NOT wish to purchase insurance, a lost package will NOT BE REFUNDED.”

In your terms however sellers are fully responsible for shipments until they
are delivered regardless of tracking/insurance

Not related to your question but just some advice from a fellow new seller

You do not have that many items in your store whether It is Mini figures or parts
or sets. Try doing what I do to get my orders as I find it works. Try including
all mini figs in the same or near the same category. For example, try to have
lots of star wars Mini figures if people are buying star wars, instead of having
lots of smaller quantity mini figures in lots of category's. (I find that
this gets more orders and more items per order).

Good luck on your store and I hope you get many customers!
