I made my PayPal account business last month. On Friday I received a message
that I had to provide additional information about various orders. I did this
properly and within an hour my account was unblocked again. However, last night
I received a message that my account has been permanently blocked. After some
searching on Google, I suspect that this is because I did not send two orders
with track and trace, but with regular mail. I did not know that PayPal did not
allow this.

What is your experience with PayPal? I will call this afternoon. Do I have a
chance of having the block removed? If not, does it make sense to create a new
account? It says that I am not allowed to create a new account with my current
account, but I have another account number that I can use.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of a PayPal account getting blocked for sending orders
without tracking before. Hopefully your call can sort it out as untracked shipments
are very common in many countries

Paypal requires delivery confirmation. You'll loose any Paypal claim by sending
untracked mail.

It is perfectly fine to send orders without tracking. However, you will lose
a buyer complaint case if they say that they did not receive it and you refuse
to refund but instead contest it.

Were you charging customers to use PayPal or were you getting them to make friends
and family payments for commercial orders? Those are more common reasons for
PayPal blocks.
