Much like the rest of the USA I don't see much actual history there
It takes like 100,000 years to cross our galaxy and there are countless similar
galaxies in every direction. BricksThatStick does live close to Middleton, WI.
I live even closer.

Doesn't your history only start in 1492?

Actually, no. The European discovery (leave aside Leif Erikson) of this Continent,
does not constitute any part of our history as a nation or people. That pretty
much started when we told the Brits to kick rocks

From your original post... believe me, I'm not taking you serious at all
Okay, so you're just being humorous about Americans having "less"
national/cultural history than say yourself? I get it

I know you have had similar experience. When I went to Great Britain with my
wife, we went just over the border to Kelso, Scotland just to get Scotland 101.
It's a little town with a big castle and a little downtown area with cobblestones
and stone buildings that look old, old. Little modern shops are built into the
old, old buildings. We went in one and got haggis. I asked the shopkeeper when
the building was built and it was many hundreds of years. I don't remember
how many, but it was more than I had even thought. He asked were I was from.
Now, I could be from Boston and there'd be pretty old buildings around.
Not as old as his shop. Where I live the really old buildings were built in
1893. Some of those are still standing. But if you wanted to open a little
shop like his here, you'd be about as likely to tear down a building and
build a new one as move into an old one. He was really surprised by that.

I would say the United States has done quite a bit in its meager 248-year existence.
I would say the United States has done quite a bit in its meager 248-year existence.
There are 6 times as many of us as there are in England now, so we are doing
6 times as much every years. But an awful lot of it is watching TikToks so....

But we still won the war of 1812
And I will NEVER watch tic tok

You could've won the war of 1776 too. All you had to do was show up.

And I would say that's an understatement, Randy. Considering the achievements
and global impact of US influence and innovation within half that timeframe,
or since we decided to get involved beyond our borders

Yeah, see: before 1492 there was water on the map at this place!

Sure, History has to be built: it's what they do building a Mustard Museum.
Of course it's commercial. But the guy who invented this must have spent
30 years searching and working 24/365 to make this specifically happen. It's
respectable at the minimum. And a very interesting initiative about something
that didn't existed, concentrating samples and knowledges about a subject
some may enjoy. I'm very fine with this approach.
But if it's what you mean, I agree, Heinz Mustard is bad
Couldn't believe my eyes, I know we've 2 M LEGO parts, but this is even
sillier and sooooo nice
5500 mustards Google says, wow and double wow!
Hmmm... it's about 3 1/2 hours away. But the best mustard I have ever had
I found in Louisiana. I doubt any museum will change my mind.
But this one you remember will be with no doubt there!
Can't find a better opportunity to delve into your past!
Ah, right, ah right! Madison is a really nice town so I'll consider it. I'm
here in Chicago so I have already The-Most-Amazing-World's-Best-Pizza-You-Could-Ever-Want
covered.
