Hello
Just logged in to learn our store is suspended. So explanation or reason beyond
violation of policies.
I have no idea what policy we violated but we have clearly done something wrong.
Fees paid up to last month.
No NSS
No negative feedback
No pending issues
No weird or custom inventory that could be a problem.

were you perhaps offering Paypal friends and family payment, or charging Paypal

Important Shipping Update
📬 Oh Canada! Mail is (Sort of) Back in Action! 🎉
Good news, everyone! The Canada Post strike has been given the ol’ “government
nudge” and will officially wrap up on Monday, December 16, 2024. Hooray for mail
on the move again! However… don’t expect things to go back to their usual snappy
pace right away. 🐢💌 With all the backlog, what once took a week might now take
weeks (yes, plural 😬).
But here’s the silver lining! ✨ Our Oversized Letter shipping methods are back
in action! 🚀 We’ll be working at lightning speed ⚡ to hand over your orders
to Canada Post. After that, it’s up to the postal workers. ⏳
If you’re in a pinch for time ⏰, we highly recommend using our parcel shipping
options by clicking Request Invoice or getting a quote. That way, we can fast-track
your goodies to you!
Thank you for your patience during this bumpy ride. You’re the real MVPs! 🙌
Wishing you all a holiday season full of joy, love, and perfectly-timed deliveries!

way of keeping things fair and square. Gst # will be included with your invoice.
Order Adventures
Before you dive into your brick-tastic shopping spree, please have a peek at
our Terms & Conditions.
Placing an order means you’re on board with these Terms & Conditions.
We’ll send your order to the BrickLink address you provided unless you inform
us otherwise.
For smooth communication, keep all order-related messages within the order itself.
If you need to return something, you’ll need to cover the postage and a 10% restocking
fee. Refunds will be for the value of the parts only, processed once the goods
are back in good shape.
Select “Local Pickup” only if you can pick up your order in Edmonton, Alberta,
Canada.
Shipping Shindigs
Oversized Letter: If it fits, it ships! Conforms to Canada Post’s Oversized Letter
service.
Flat Rate: Perfectly packed in Canada Post Flat Rate Boxes.
USA Tracked Packet: Ready to cross the border within Canada Post’s USA Tracked
Packet Service.
International Tracked Packet: Comes with tracking and insurance up to $100 CAD.
Request for Invoice: We’ll choose the most budget-friendly shipping method unless
you specify otherwise.
Shipping Days: We ship on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, skipping Canadian
statutory holidays.
Shipping Notes
Ensure you select the correct shipping method during checkout. If you select
the wrong method, we’ll work with you to adjust the shipping cost on a case-by-case
basis (e.g., if you choose Local Pickup from Ontario, a shipping price adjustment
will be necessary).
Once your order is marked as shipped, we can’t change the address.
We process and ship orders on weekdays only. Orders made on Saturdays might be
processed the following Monday or Tuesday.
Holiday and sales times might add a bit of extra sparkle (or wait) to your order.
Picking & Packing Fun
Orders are picked in the order they come in.
We process and ship orders on weekdays. Orders made on Saturdays might be processed
the following Monday or Tuesday.
If there’s a hiccup with your order, like a delay or missing items, we’ll update
you promptly.
Missing items? We’ll refund you for those gaps in your collection.
Condition of Your Treasures
NEW: Freshly unwrapped from packaging and ready for action. Mini-figures are
packaged unassembled. All from a non-smoking environment.
USED: These pieces have had a previous adventure. We inspect and clean them thoroughly
to ensure they’re ready for their next quest.
Accuracy & Customer Service Cheer
If your order doesn’t meet your expectations due to missing, damaged, or incorrect
pieces, let us know! We’ll sort it out and refund the affected parts unless it
seems like our customer service is being taken for a spin. Always reach out to
us first!
Limitation of Liability
We’re here to bring you joy, not trouble. If something goes awry, we’re only
liable for the value of the goods purchased. No indirect or whimsical damages,
please!
Minimum Purchase Requirement
To keep the brick-building magic alive, we have a minimum purchase of $2.50 CAD.
It helps us keep prices low and smiles wide!
Safety First
Choking Hazard: Our tiny pieces may be too small for the littlest adventurers.
Be sure to keep them away from young ones!
Changing Times
We might update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we do, we’ll post
the changes on our website. New updates will take effect immediately.

Seems odd that there's no warning or specific reason. Like how are we
supposed to learn from this, or have a chance to correct the problem?
It is probably the link to your stores. If the link on BL leads to a link to
other stores, it is against TOS. That’s my understanding (I could be mistaken).

by the sounds of it, their linktree isn't linked on bricklink so that shouldn't
be the problem in this case (tho if it was, then you would be right as to that

The internet archive has an interesting ability to capture the future (or is
it a result of too much spaghetti?), even though this snapshot of OP's store
was done 26 January 2024, the terms show the 29 December 2024 version.

It means the apparence of the site on the webarchive is from feb 2024 or such,
but the Terms are displayed "in real time", so they are dated 29th dec
2024.
I had one for me and one for my wife. The BYBL account was hers as she ran the
store until her cancer diagnosis. Then I just changed the name of the store to
me as I was answering the messages etc.
I had no idea it was a violation to have 2 accounts.

you can’t unless you have direct permission from bricklink

It is, at least active account, as as a seller you're allowed to test your
settings with an account you don't do anything with (just test orders, no
feedback, no real purchase) on your own store.
VERY happy they understood and you're back on line, your (both, then?) feedback
is perfect you're an asset!

You are limited to one (1) account on this Site unless we have granted you permission
to have additional accounts, such permission being in our sole discretion.
I vaguely remember reading on the forum that you are allowed a 2nd account to
test shipping for your main account as long as you get permission first. Don't
know what, if any, other exceptions are made. If anyone else does please post.

Already did, but fundamentaly, it's tolerated as long you don't get profit
of it or don't hide something, like:
* getting feedbacks,
* placing orders or increasing your number of orders,
* buying with another account to hide who really is,
* avoiding fees (less than N dollars),
* posting in forum to propagate Pizza love for instance...
As a seller, if you set up shipping methods, it's almost necessary.
Time was you would have to ask the authorization (I still have Dan's emails).
It's been simplified with a generic tolerance for a reasonable use.

Whether one really needs permission for a test-only account (one that never buys
and never leaves feedback) is not really clear.
I think there’s been at least a message or two giving a “blanket” authorisation
for those.

Some sellers have two shops: one for New and one for Used.
AFAIK, it’s only because they are using the “margin VAT” scheme that BL doesn’t
handle¹.
I think there may also be the case when someone has a personal account and a
business account. But, I guess that, in this case, it’s not exactly the same
person who owns the accounts.

¹ Margin VAT: when you buy Used from individuals, there’s no VAT, so you only
collect VAT on the margin. BL only knows about the simpler VAT-on-everything
scheme, so your store can only be VAT or non-or-manual-VAT.

I vaguely remember reading on the forum that you are allowed a 2nd account to
test shipping for your main account as long as you get permission first.
Whether one really needs permission for a test-only account (one that never buys
and never leaves feedback) is not really clear.
PSA!!!
Someone already asked me (yes!): but I've nothing in common with this ^Sylvain!!!
See, I'm not moderate, I'm a real seller and a good person; quite the
opposite in fact

Methinks S. and her “zealous mice” are the sellers. And they are all
very nice to tolerate you in the store and to let you be the public face of the
shop on the forum.
No we haven’t been circumventing payment via established payment methods.
It’s a mystery

it says
"Reason: Violation of BrickLink's Terms of Service"
were you perhaps offering Paypal friends and family payment, or charging Paypal
fees? perhaps share your stores terms so we can see if we can figure it out

No e-mail no nothing from BrickLink?
Frankly it's a shame
And both privileges are suspended, I'm not sure it's normal when a shop
is?
Your Terms are nice and well written (congratulations BTW!)
The only thing that's a problem (you'll correct later on) is/was: "Note
that if tracking and/or insurance is not selected, lost packages will be at the
buyer’s expense."
But I've seen no shop closed "only" for this; otherwise 1/3 of the
shops should be
Could it be something sold (supected) non-LEGO?
Like string at the meter, tons of rubber band...?
Or Used said "Like New" items?
Or Incomplete Star Wars sets missing all pricy Minifigures for ex?
PM me or Nubs_Select your inventory xml file / BrickStore file, if you've
a copy...?
I'll have a look.
No warnings, no weird products, nothing. It’s still a mystery

This is strange. It suggests that it is something that is account related rather
than store related. If it was a selling issue, they'd only suspend the selling
privileges. Unless the buying side was already suspended or suspended for a different
reason.

What was the deadline for clicking the "agree to live under the boot of EU
legal oppression"? Is this the 1st instance of failing to check the box?

No: BrickLink agrees to.
You just agree BrickLink TOS, or don't.
You're free to BLexit (also)

They gave the deadline of 16 February and say suspensions will only happen after
that ...
I agreed to that self certification
Not the reason.
This sucks, I have an employee too.

I spend a lot of time helping and supporting other stores too. Try to do everything
the right way and put good coins in the karma bank.
I’ll share in here what the actual reason is once I finally find out…

it might be that you dont provide your GST/HST number on invoices. this is an
image of my invoice from you but your tax number is nowhere to be seen despite
your terms saying it's on the invoices. in order to charge sales tax, you
must have your GST/HST number on your invoices but your doesn't have it.
if you look at image 2 (assuming bricklink doesn't change the order) you
can see how I have it on mine where its clearly shown. since in bricklink rules,
you must abide by country laws, this, in theory, could be related tho I'm
not 100% certain.

Or on the Terms, or registered as a pro on BrickLink like in "Business
Registration Details" if it applies to you (I'm not sure, here it does
but I don't know if this appears for other Countries like outside Europe...)
I send my gst # in invoices only. I don’t post unless it’s on an invoice.
The main issue is I’m suspended and I don’t know why. How can it be corrected
or atoned for if we don’t know what we did wrong. And why is a store treated
as guilty without notice, explanation or warning.

I'm 99.99% sure it has to be included on every single order invoice (include
instant invoice as amazon and ebay and all the like include it)

indeed, explanations as to the reason would help when bricklink closes stores
